Ayesha is extremely picky about her food. "Finicky" is the word that most people use. On the other hand, my 4 year old Ayesha knows what's good for her. Any cat owner reading this review should also look up the article: "Researchers studied cats' eating behavior and you won't believe what they found" by Dr. Becker. Excerpt: "..Cats may initially opt for food that smells and tastes good, but over time, they learn to choose foods that meet their nutritional requirements..." Ayesha is at a point in her life wherein she prefers food that meets her nutritional requirements. Apparently, Tiki Cat Born Carnivore Chicken Broth Wet Cat Food Topper helps fulfill those requirements. In fact, she will lick up this gravy and leave behind the food she doesn't like. Even when I serve it cold, from the fridge, she's OK with it (I assume because I warm up other foods and put in the same bowl.) According to Ayesha, this gravy gets an A+ rating; that's what matters.

These came in great pouches with resealable caps. It smelled really good and I expected my cat to love it. I put some on her dry food as a topper but she didn’t

These came in great pouches with resealable caps. It smelled really good and I expected my cat to love it. I put some on her dry food as a topper but she didn’t like it and it made her kibble soft and wet. So then I tried it alone in a little dish and I expected her to lap it up but she didn’t touch it. Then I tried it as a topper on her canned food. She ate a little but she was not impressed. She is a finicky girl. I then gave a pouch to my sister to try with her cat and her cat loved it and ate the dry food topped with it and enjoyed lapping up the broth on its own. It’s a great idea and I guess it just depends on your cat’s likes.

I received Tiki Cat born Carnivore broth. Top quality ingredients. Looks great and seems Like a great product to help with hydration. Unfortunately my cat won’t eat it. He’s not particularly fussy. He eats canned and dry food as well as various treats. I tried to give this to him plain, on his dry food and also diluted with warm water and so far he’s just not interested. I think it worth a try, as any cat owner knows there is often no way to predict what will be a hit or bust with a cat.

I received this product a few days ago. I've been using it as a top dress on small aliquots of my cat's dry food. He is extremely fickle barn cat so I just give him a little at a time. He likes it well enough. It is not an strong odor. I was pleased by the 7oz size container. It has a nice sturdy screw top lid that I don't have to worry about spilling when I put it back in the fridge. It does not say anywhere on the packaging it needs to be refrigerated once opened however that is my preference. There are six pouches in each box. That will last me a long time. Now my dogs are begging for it on their food as well . LOL!

I have a love for Tiki Cat already, but their products never cease to amaze me. I have finicky cats and one only truly likes the liquids in the foods so this broth was a treat to try. Now my other two cats loved it, slurped it right up, but my finicky girl was a little reluctant. After warming it up, she ate it well, but wouldn't touch it again. Ive offered ot multiple times and she simply won't eat it. Now I don't think that's a negative thing on the food, my boy absolute love it. I think my girl is just a pill. I totally would recommend this product and will continue to use it for my boys.

These broth packets are super easy to store in the packaging they come in which is a big plus! I also love the twist off cap style that they have. The broth itself has a thicker texture that I wasn’t expecting but is good for no spills. It didn’t interest either of my cats when I put it on a lick mat frozen because there is not much of a smell to it even when unfrozen but when I gave it to them with food one of the cats really liked it! My other cat is very picky and knows I have her other favs in the fridge as well..
