I see where someone already asked this, but, I have to be sure. I don't see anywhere in the details of this product that it says it's unscented. My cats get very sickly if there's any type of perfumed scent in it. Would like to hear from users of this. Thanks!

Love the lightweight concept but the box is awkward to handle! It really needs a handle! I'm a cat mom who is 73 years young. I live in an upper apartment, that means my Chewy box gets opened at the bottom of the stairs and all the items carried up individually. When you changed from the nice plastic pails with handle To the cheap cardboard box with NO HANDLE,it made shipping more compact and easier for you and alot harder for me and any other cat mom with age and mobility problems. If the price had come down with the obvious down grade from plastic pail to cardboard box it would have helped the inconvenience but the price stayed the same. The same as local retail by the way.....

omg it's so light. I mean, I was totally blown away. My 9 year old was helping get the litter out of the chewy shipping boxes and, as a silly 9 year old would, he says, "hey mom, catch!!" and I look over, seeing he has tossed one at me (as i have a heart attack watching what I think is a heavy litter tub, that, in the past, we would have struggled to carry up the stairs), and I caught it (with a scream): Too my surprise, it's literally light enough for my 9 year old to play catch with lol. AND it works just as the other tidy litters do that we had prior. good smell protection (we have 6 cats so we are familiar with what stink can be like lol). I love it and I'll never look back! Anything to limit the moaning my kids do when the litter boxes chore comes up :P

We Use This For Our 7 Babies!

We have 7 Kitties with the ages varying from one year old through 12 years old and they all take to the litter greatly! It clumps into scoop-able waste that is easy

We have 7 Kitties with the ages varying from one year old through 12 years old and they all take to the litter greatly! It clumps into scoop-able waste that is easy to clean after. It doesn't stick to their feet and scatter everywhere like other litters we've tried. Thank goodness! We really enjoy this style of litter, it's a favorite in this household! And thanks to Chewy's amazing customer service and great prices, we get several tubs of this shipped to our house every month with our autoship order! 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!!

This litter is great stuff. Not only does it clump like product states it does but the fact that it is lightweight is great! A box weighing 17 pounds is a lot easier

This litter is great stuff. Not only does it clump like product states it does but the fact that it is lightweight is great! A box weighing 17 pounds is a lot easier to handle and on the Ole back than a box weighing 35 to 40 pounds. The first time I put this in my little princesses litter box I was not sure if she would recognize a difference and quit using her litter box. No problem, she has not changed her litter box habits.

This would be a five star review if based on the litter alone. It is easier to scoop and takes the same volume as the heavyweight stuff. The sole complaint is the box the litter comes in. At only 17 lbs. the box should be a breeze to handle and the litter easy to pour...BUT...there is no handle on the box so it is incredibly awkward to carry. 17 lbs. of dead weight . As for pouring, the little opening that happens when the "tab" is pulled is too small to be of use and when the entire top is opened pouring is awkward and the box cannot be re closed. Fortunately, an empty heavyweight litter pale solved the problem of the left over litter. In summary, great product but lousy package. A plastic handle and pour spout would get this 5 stars.

NOT unscented, but otherwise good

I had been using Fresh Step unscented litter, but was tired of scraping pee paste off the sides of the box and dealing with the resulting micro pee clumps. I decided to try this after cat sitting for a friend who uses a different tidy cats litter and noticing that her cat's box didn't have this issue at all. I chose this option because the answered questions claim that it is unscented. Well, it is definitely scented, albeit much less so than the overtly perfumed options. The scent is light and inoffensive to me, but definitely noticeable from across the room when the cats start digging, for example. It doesn't bother me so far (and I do have asthma), but I'm not sure whether or not my cats will take to it, and I can see it not being an option for some people and cats for this reason. It's a shame because otherwise I've found the clumping quality better than what I had been using and it barely sticks to the sides. It also seems to track slightly less.

NEW BOX IS HORRIBLE, LOST ALL STARS FOR PRODUCT

Save your old plastic tubs if you haven’t tossed them yet! Seriously! This box blows. They changed the packaging to a cardboard box. It’s terrible for a few reasons... 1. There is no handle. It’s just a square cardboard box. How are you supposed to pour it into the litter box...? 2. The opening is also poorly designed. It’s just a flap that you can open one time and never reseal. Because there’s no good way to hold the box, the stupid opening is even more obvious. You can try to hold it on an angle but it still gets everywhere. The litter collects in the lid as you pour and then spills everywhere once you set the box back down. 3. It’s in a cardboard box (-_-)... Litter needs to be sealed from moisture. I have the litter box in the basement. Occasionally after a big rainstorm, we get a little water in the basement. The entire box of litter is ruined when that happens. I learned the hard way. The cardboard box got wet, letting the litter get wet, turning the thing into a heavy mess. Whoever designed this should be fired. Clearly they did not use it in their own home before sending this to the public. This used to be a four start product for me. Everything was great except the dust. They even improved the dust factor (though still too dusty) and that was a great improvement. I have knocked off all the stars now because it’s next to impossible to use this product now. So disappointed.

This litter is lightweight, compared to other cat litters, although it's not as light as depicted in the TV commercials, where people toss it about as if it were a bag of cotton balls. But that's my opinion. The litter works better than most other litter I've used. It clumps solid and hardens quickly. I have multiple cats and they don't break up the clumps after one another. I don't notice any odor either, even when cleaning the boxes. This litter works especially well in my Omega Paw Roll 'N Clean Litter Box (which I also like, but that's another review...).

Out of all the litters I have tried in the past year I truly love this one. I have 3 cats and this one DOES have a slight fragrance but not overpowering. It clumps

Out of all the litters I have tried in the past year I truly love this one. I have 3 cats and this one DOES have a slight fragrance but not overpowering. It clumps well and doesn’t separate when you scoop. It is very VERY light weight. So lightweight I can hardly tell when I need more without opening the bucket. It doesn’t stink like the others I’ve tried. I clean out the boxes at least every two days. The others stunk half way through the first day. This one is amazing. If there’s a better one please let me know.

I’ve been using this litter for years. My cats love it and I love the clean up. The regular clay litter stuck so hard on the bottom & sides of the pans I sometimes

I’ve been using this litter for years. My cats love it and I love the clean up. The regular clay litter stuck so hard on the bottom & sides of the pans I sometimes had to use a putty knife to get it up. The scent is good smells nice especially when I add litter. I normally use Arm & Hammer deodorant spray after cleaning the boxes if I don’t need more litter. I highly recommend and got my parents to use. They couldn’t thank me enough and it’s light enough for them to carry. I do miss the bucket at times but I saved one and empty the box into it. The buckets are hard to recycle when your recycling companies won’t take them.
