So I'm over 60 and have painful elbow tendonitis, I am so over my old litter, which I loved but was SOOO heavy. I decided to buy three different types of the lightweight
So I'm over 60 and have painful elbow tendonitis, I am so over my old litter, which I loved but was SOOO heavy. I decided to buy three different types of the lightweight clumping formulas to see which one "Gio" liked best. THANKFULLY, he preferred the same brand I did!! The Tidy Cat Lightweight litter, is considerably lighter than the other two I tried, like by a lot! Gio is a 20lb. Ragdoll with a lot of long fur. I religously clean the litter box daily and I've had the same litter in the box for 2 weeks now and there is zero odor, still, just a fresh floral scent. Also, the clumping is different but great and amazingly different than what im used to. My old litter, the pee would reach the bottom of the pan and stick (Gio pees alot each time he goes, BIG clumps!), with THIS litter, the pee has yet to reach the bottom of the pan - yay, more good news for my elbow pain!! This is what I will be staying with!!! LOVE IT!!!

I have a neuro illness called Transverse Myelitis which causes weakness in my extremities--it's a cousin to MS. Lightweight cat litter is a total life saver for me, but my cat tracks it all OVER MY HOUSE! I recently bought Tidy cats regular scoop-able litter. HUGE difference--no tracking, but the dust, the heaviness of the litter, + within a month I'm out of litter! •Pros & Cons• -Lightweight Pros: longer lasting litter, ease of use, no dust, not heavy, & super easy to scoop. -Lightweight Cons: Tracks everywhere, constant clean-up around my house, vacuuming, & swifter Sweeper Vac on hardwoods, litter all over furniture. Like I said, stuck between a rock & a hard place. Tidy Cats: please make a cat litter that is lightweight & doesn't track all over the house.
Awesome no dust
This is the first cat litter I have found that basically has no dust. Everything else that says low dust is a desert dust storm. This is amazing not to mention

Tracks literally everywhere... Super Dusty...
This litter smells good, clumps good, it is light weight, BUT it tracks EVERYWHERE and is so DUSTY... I have been using this cat litter for only 2 weeks. Everywhere
This litter smells good, clumps good, it is light weight, BUT it tracks EVERYWHERE and is so DUSTY... I have been using this cat litter for only 2 weeks. Everywhere the cat goes there is clay pebbles throughout the entire house. I have even found clay pebbles in my bed. I am constantly cleaning because of these pebbles. Thankfully, I only have one cat to worry about. I'd hate to see what a mess it would be if I had more then one cat. Furthermore, the cat's litter box is in a huge family room that is12 x 30 and is enclosed. There is literally dust everywhere in that room... The cat litter claims to be "99% Dust Free", but I beg to differ! I have a genie which is literally covered with this powdery dust inside and out. I mop the floors in the room and 3 days later they are slippery from the powder this litter lets out, and it's not dirt from the outside because we don't walk in the house with shoes and my cat is a inside cat. I am a first time Tidy Cats user and I'm very disappointed. I do not recommend this cat litter whatsoever!!! I am going back to the cat litter I previously used which is - Naturally Fresh 100% Natual Walnut Shells. It smells fresh (Alpine scent), clay free, corn free, grain free and in my humble opinion, it's better in the dust department. It does not track and I think it should be the one to truly claim that it's, "99% Dust Free!" I was so wrong to have ventured out. I guess I'll gladly live by this slogan, "if it's not broken, don't fix it!"

It doesn't stick to their feet and scatter everywhere like other litters we've tried. Thank goodness! We really enjoy this style of litter, it's a favorite in this household! And thanks to Chewy's amazing customer service and great prices, we get several tubs of this shipped to our house every month with our autoship order! 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!!!

So I have been using this litter for 4 weeks now so this is a review from someone who has given this product a fair shot. My first impression when pouring the litter
So I have been using this litter for 4 weeks now so this is a review from someone who has given this product a fair shot. My first impression when pouring the litter was this stuff is fantastic. It is low dust (not 0 dust but low) it smells amazing and is indeed light weight. I had one litter box full of this stuff and another full of arm and hammer slide and the one with this litter was smelling great after a week of daily scooping and the slide was smelling foul. My cats do not seem to mind the scent, but I worry that this stuff may have adverse effects on their health and that is in the back of my mind when deciding to keep using this product. After 3 weeks I had not added any litter into the pan and was still scooping daily. The litter looked brand new after 3 weeks! If you want low maintenance then this is your litter! I see a lot of comments about the packaging. It is slightly hard to open but I am young and have good hand strength so I was fine but I can see someone without hand strength having difficulty. I personally like the packaging because I can recycle the entire box. The reason why I made this 4 stars is because the lightness of the litter makes it easier for my cats to track it around the house. I have found myself sweeping a lot more and finding litter in many areas of my home that I did not before. I think I will say this is a fair trade for not smelling cat urine all day though.

We have a momma kitty with 6kittens and they just began using the litter box. So we are happy with the odor blocker(now it’s not 100% but it helps). We also love it because we don’t feel like we are towing a rock that weights 1,000lbs.
Very messy :(
the smell is strong which is nice (definitely have a lidless litterbox for this stuff) but it cakes to his paws everytime he goes and is so dusty! normal tidycats
the smell is strong which is nice (definitely have a lidless litterbox for this stuff) but it cakes to his paws everytime he goes and is so dusty! normal tidycats is what you’d want to stick with if you don’t want it nasty. i’ve been experimenting with litters lately and either the normal glade or 4 in 1 tidycats works best! less mess and clumps so much better even tho it may be heavier but it’s so much more affordable! pair with frisco odor defense unscented litter to stretch your litter! 30 bucks for this stuff isn’t justified at all :/
Toxic for sensitive individuals

The manufacturer refuses to reveal its ingredients. But I brought this home with a new kitten, wanting to have everything the same for her as I transitioned her to my preferred products. Each time I cleaned the litter afterwards I noticed feeling itchy on the back of my neck. By the 4th day I had hives. Each day more hives. I had adopted her on New Year’s Eve, and had no work to go to in January. The cat and the litter were the only new things. I wore gloves and a mask and got it all out of the house and vacuumed. Within 18 hours and with some antihistamines the hives were gone. I think people should know that the first reaction will be small, each exposure reactions get more dramatic. My lips and eyes swelled last, which is awful close to anaphylaxis. I don’t know why at 60+ when I have never had allergic reactions before, but this was the first one. And now I had another. 2 years later, to MI and MCI, preservatives in skin and hair care products. Please pay attention to any initial itching, it’s a warning sign that precedes allergic reactions that could endanger your life. I now keep epi pens.
