Poor packaging or Shipping handling
This happens at least a couple times a year. I assume it is a handling problem by the shipper, but it is a mess and we lose at least 10% of our litter each time
This happens at least a couple times a year. I assume it is a handling problem by the shipper, but it is a mess and we lose at least 10% of our litter each time too. Is it possible to have this product shrink wrapped and shipped without a box so the handlers can properly handle the container in hopes of less breakage and loss? We love Chewy and won’t be leaving over this silliness, but pets are expensive enough without the loss we gain due to shipping. Thank you for your help! Have a great day! (In case it matters your picture of the product is wrong we get the 35lb bucket :)

I have been on a rampage of trying different cat litters ever since I got my automatic litter boxes , which now I have since thrown out, but worked great in the automatic litter boxes if anyone did have those, but they automatic litter boxes I had with pieces of junk, so I threw them away went back to traditional and have stuck with this litter since it was awesome. It’s much more affordable than my old brand and it seems to help better with clumping and keeping the odors down. The only thing that I do notice is the individual 20 pound seem to be less dusty and less sandy with fine particulars. Compared to the 40 pound container where that one seems to have a lot more fine Dust in it and I don’t know if it’s some typeof packing That’s causing the granules to get worn down more, but even after the jugs are poured in the little box after a few days also revert to a weird very fine particular sand as well so just something with the formulation causes it to dust up. Says it’s low dust, I would say a maybe. Still great for multiple cats not as high tracking as some others still do get some pull out of the litter box, but I think it’s more the individual catsthat just kick it out.

Even if your not from PA, shipping is still only about 3 to 5 days. I buy my same favorite pet store brand at a much better price and it's delivered! It doesn't get any better than that! That's a no brainer.
Worst Litter I've EVER Used

I recently moved and wanted to swap to a new clumping litter (instead of non-clumping) to make things a little easier since the boxes are now upstairs. I have 8 cats, and I also work in the pet industry and I can confidently say this is the WORST cat litter I've ever used. Ever. The fragrance of the litter smells worse than the pee and poop, and combined with them it's been an absolute nightmare (and I have covered boxes in a totally separate room of the house!). I scoop the boxes at least 3 times a day, every day. There is SO much dust and it will STICK to you. I can smell it on me after only scooping for a few seconds at each box (even when it's just the clean litter that was freshly put in!). It also has some of the worst tracking I've seen in any clay litter. It's absolutely everywhere, even with litter mats that have worked with every other litter I've used. The clumping ability is also useless. It falls apart while scooping, and it falls apart as the cats scratch and cover in the box. I've had guests confirm it's the scent of the litter, by smelling directly into the pail. I've never had guests comment negatively on the scent of my cats, even with so many around the house. I purchased 3 pails, too, so it's not just a "bad batch". I used Tidy Cats 24/7 non-clumping previously, and that worked well with odor control so I don't know why this one is so terrible. But I've already ordered a few different brands to replace this litter, and I'm very hesitant to go back to any Tidy Cats clumping litter after this mess. Two of my boys also have allergies, and it's been made worse by this litter.

We received 2 buckets, 35 lbs. each of Tidy Cat Muti Cat Clumping 4 in 1 Strength litter. The litter arrived this past Saturday and was opened by my wife on Sunday, August 10th. She soon discovered 3 pitcher bugs! We have to assume these bugs probably came from the factory. We won't be using this litter EVER AGAIN!!!

While this is very good kitty liter as far as the clumping factor etc. and its great for my cat personally who loves to clean her paws constantly so she doesn’t have so much liter stuck in between her paws. My issue is and it’s a big one that the dust from this liter (as is with most if not all I’ve come across) the cloud of dust you get. I laugh when these Cat liter companies claim otherwise they all have that cloud of dust. But this one has more, many more plus’s than minuses therefore i choose it over the rest. The actual container it comes in has a half flip up lid that is great for scooping but the seal around the edge for me is very hard to get off so I have to wait for one of my boys to come over to do that. Otherwise I choose this over the rest.

I thought it would have better clumping ability since it was 4-in-1, but not so much. I will be going back to the glade scented multi cats clumping litter. I think it’s the best!

This is all we've been using for our one cat, and for the price, it's a great product. However, I caution ordering this pail with other items, as it may be too heavy for some overworked delivery drivers, and it'll likely be tossed around too roughly. In my most-recent order, the pail was damaged in transit, and a nickel-sized hole was created in the bottom, causing litter to spill throughout the box. Chewy customer service is, as always, EXCELLENT, and issued a refund immediately. Just be aware of the weight of your order.
