Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance Scented Non-Clumping Cat Litter, 20-lb bag

My elderly cat was tracking litter all over the house. He would lay and pick the litter off of his feet. It was becoming a huge problem. My house was feeling like a litter pan. It got so bad, I wouldn't let him in my bed anymore. Then it hit me... The litter is clumping onto his feet! So I switched to the NON CLUMPING litter. And sure enough, problem solved! No more litter all over the house. No more litter stuck to his feet. The scented litter is too strong and this is not enough, so I mix them... 2 parts unscented, 1 part scented. It's perfect! Get some litter liners and the cleaning is a breeze!

I've been a loyal Tidy Cats customer for years, but I need to warn other cat owners: DO NOT buy the new packaging version of this litter. This is an absolute catastrophe. The previous version had a simple pull-string that opened cleanly and sealed everything off with zero mess. It was convenient, practical, and did exactly what packaging should do-protect the product and allow easy access. The new packaging? It's a nightmare. You NEED scissors to open it, and when you do, it's an explosive disaster. Litter spills everywhere-on my hands, all over the floor, creating clouds of dust that coat my entire laundry room. Every single bag is the same infuriating experience. Opening this product is now a frustrating, messy ordeal that I dread. The worst part? This is clearly a cost-cutting measure. They saved maybe a couple of cents per bag while making the customer experience substantially worse. That's not progress-that's putting profits ahead of functionality. I've wasted money on dozens of bags of this product. I'm done. I'm switching brands and I'd strongly recommend other customers do the same. There are better products out there from companies that actually respect their customers enough to keep functional packaging.

Was outside the fed ex truck drove up my drive past my house to our shop turned around drove back by my house and put the order on a rock next to the dumpster a quarter of a mile away from my porch. As it stating to rain! I had delivery because I'm physically unable to move it. By the time I was able to get help retrieving my package from the dumpster it was ruined by the rain and the wild animals torn into it! Wasted my money!

Some of these reviews kill me. Why are you complaining about shipping on a product review? Shipping has nothing to do with the PRODUCT. It clearly says NON-CLUMPING on the package. Non-clumping means it isn't going to “clump” together. By “clump” they mean “stick”. Complaining about a different product while posting a review on this product is not helpful for people looking for answers or opinions on this product. This product does exactly what it says it does on the package as far as being a non-clumping clay litter. It does not cover up the smell as well as clumping litter does because it doesn't stick or clump around the waste. You have to scoop the solid waste out every day. You have to change the litter completely out at least once per week, maybe more, depending on the number of cats using the box. I have two cats using the box and I do it once per week. I also have other litter boxes but this is the only non-clumping box. One of the cats refuses to use any type of litter other than non-clumping clay litter. I personally prefer clumping litter but since I'm not the one actually using the box I defer to the cat.
