We adopted a dog that had severe anxiety of storms. It was so bad that he torn down my bedroom blinds and knocked over a floor mirror when we weren’t home. We would go out for a walk with our other dog, and he would stop and refuse to go any further because he sensed a storm coming in(even though it was sunny). We had to go immediately home. During a storm with thunder he was a trembling scared dog and he hid out in my pantry (no windows). We purchased the room outlet diffuser and the collar. Wow! This made an amazing difference. A storm with thunder; no problem. He was 80% his normal self. He still has some walk anxiety, but is not quite as bad. He trots along without a care for the most part. It changed our life!

This must be the best advice I ever had from our vet and we completely love her!!! Our vet has known our chihuahuas for 11 years. My youngest chihuahua is 3 years old and he gets anxious but takes it out by playing with items he knows are not his and also tends to use the facilities in the house when stressed. Our vet said to try this Thunderease, also known as Adaptil. It is a plug-in pheromone that sends scent into the air that only doggies can smell and it helps to keep them calm. This is so true after so many things tried with our chihuahuas. He now just chills out during the day, takes naps and waits til we get home to go outside. I signed up for auto-ship so I will never run out. It says that it lasts for a month, and it surely does last the entire month! So no worries about running out early. It is released slowly. Again, the best advice from our vet for doggie anxiety. Thanks!!!

This definitely helps our pup taffy relax and stay calm when home alone. She used to have extreme anxiety and would bark when we leave for outings. Feeling bad for our pup and trying to find solutions we came across this item and I can honestly say this helps our taffy relax, and feel calm. Now she does still bark for a short time but ultimately calms down after about 5-10 min of being alone. I would definitely recommend you try this product if you also have a dog that has extreme anxiety.

It was noticeable difference when the first one ran out- tension started again. I feed them in separate rooms and kept toys put away but there was this “I see you and you don’t belong here” mentality that completely went away with these. I was able to stop using them after three months.

His mouth and face were particularly affected and sometimes he would scratch so hard he'd injure his face/eyes/ears. We have every cone and recovery suit the internet sells to try and keep him from scratching himself. It was so sad to see a 7 month old puppy so itchy he's crying. Anyway, turns out this was the cause. I unplugged the diffuser, opened all the windows, turned all the fans on, washed every blanket/pillow/piece of clothing and gave the puppy a very thorough bath and he began improving immediately. So if your dog is experiencing allergy symptoms and you use this, consider this as a potential allergen!

I tried these and the affect was INSTANT!! He stopped whining and we're even getting to a point that he goes willingly into his bed. But was it just me? All in my head? Nope! I recommended them to a friend for her cat (the cat version of course) and her pet's reaction was instant as well! So glad I found these! I'm a believer!

They make a spray Adaptil that I carry in my go bag for the dogs. It really works.

My dog is much more social and coming out to socialize with us and our other dogs. If they run out, he goes back into hiding.
