I have a dog who has had anxiety since the day we met. I was excited to try TherapetMD Dog Pheromone Calming Diffuser & Refill Kit for Stressed Dogs hoping it would bring some relief to my sweet Jasper. The set was easy to assemble, the challenge for me was finding an outlet with 4 foot clearance in my 1940's home. The directions note it may take 10 - 30 days to see a result in your pet's behavior. This product is odorless and the duck bill on the diffuser is quite cute. To date I have not noticed a significant change in Jasper's anxiety. Jasper also wears a pheromone collar and I typically notice a change in him as the collar is loosing effectiveness. I hope this diffuser set is the same, that as it runs out I will notice the change as his anxiety increases which should improve once the refill is replaced. I am cautiously optimistic that this set will help, it was on the advice of an animal behaviorist who stated pheromone products would be beneficial in reducing Jasper's anxiousness.

Horrific. That is the scene I encountered after I left it in the first night. My little dog weed inside when she usually only has accidents when it is raining (was not raining), and my senior dog had violent diarrhea everywhere in the room it was in (and she almost never has accidents). I thought, okay, I will return it. But their return policy is whack and other reviews say its almost impossible to get your refund, so into the trash it goes! Horrible ingredients and terrible return policy No, I am not paying shipping to return this to them in order to continue the next person. Swerve on this product.

Convenient and Calming for Daily Use

I’ve really liked adding the Calming Diffuser & Refill to our dog room, especially for the times we’re away at work. It gives me peace of mind seeing the light on

I’ve really liked adding the Calming Diffuser & Refill to our dog room, especially for the times we’re away at work. It gives me peace of mind seeing the light on so I know it’s active, and I appreciate that it has a simple on/off button instead of needing to constantly unplug it. It’s also compact enough that I’d consider bringing it along while traveling, which is a nice bonus. As for the calming effect, it does seem to create a more relaxed atmosphere for my dog. I do think this is one of those products you need to use consistently over time to really notice the full results, but so far I’ve been happy with it. If you have a dog that struggles with stress, anxiety, or being left alone, I’d definitely say it’s worth trying as an extra calming support around the house.

Our vet recommended TherapetMD pheromone calming diffuser for our three little dogs when we were going to be going out of town. i was concerned about their stress while they were being cared for my our son and his wife. So, i had already purchased this product before asking to try it and review it. This priduct couldn't be easier to set up. Open the package, twist the refill bottle into the difusser and plug in. Easy peasy. I can't definitely say that i see a dramatic effect. First time we used, we were out of town, so, not sure how we could measure level of comfort this difusser brought them. I have one plugged into the main level of our home right now and the dogs are doing well. I think i need to purchase more diffusers to have another one on the main level and another one upstairs. I have read in multiple reviews that this lessons, and or eliminates accident incidents. With three tiny dogs, even their occasional accident is frustrating. If we could completely eliminate this issue, i would be thrilled.

I honestly cannot say that the Therapet Calming Diffuser had any effect on my dog. But, it has been plugged in, in the room where she spends most of her time, for about 2 weeks. The information on their website said that most pet parents see a noticeable difference within 30 days. The product itself is nicely packaged and it looks fine plugged into the wall. I like that it has a button to turn it on and the blue light is nice to be able to tell that it is in fact turned on. The first few days, there was a very faint odor. But I do have a very sensitive nose. After a few days either the odor stopped or I got used to it. One vial is said to last for 30 days, and two comes in the package with diffuser kit.

This TherapetMD Dog Pheromone Calming Diffuser & Refill Kit was so easy to set up-Just plug it in! My husband is very super sensitive to smells and did not notice any strange smells after it had been plugged in for awhile (and believe me, he would tell me if he did!) My little dog gets nervous during a storm when it thunders-to the point where she will shake like a leaf uncontrollably. We had some thunder a couple days after plugging this little device in, and….she was fine! I seriously was shocked and pleasantly surprised. I usually have to give her a calming medication prescribed by the vet-It’s great that something purely natural would work- better for her, PLUS the medication takes a bit of time to kick in and this is already right there, plugged in…ready to go! Would definitely recommend!

My lab is a very anxious guy. I love the ease of just plugging this product in and forgetting about it. There is no smell whatsoever that us humans can smell. The cute little duck lips make me smile. There is also a night light you csn turn off and on. It has seemed to help calm my dog. He is not as restless in the evenings and calms down so much faster.
