I don’t think I’ve ever written a review in my life, but I had to for this. Normal pellets are too big for most betta’s mouths, but these are the perfect size! My new betta fish hated any food I gave him and would always spit it out or lose interest. But this food makes him SO excited! When he sees the bottle he swims right to the top opening. I have never seen a fish eat so fast in my life. Needless to say, best betta food EVER!!! 10/10 recommend.

Our moontail beta fish loves these pellets - they are bright red and very easy to see against the fish's substrate. They mostly float on top of the tank, which our fish prefers. He will come up and eat as soon as I add the pellets. I like that they are very easy to grab, and are not flaky. They are small hard pellets, and do not make a large mess. Just be careful not to spill! It is very easy to get these little pellets everywhere if you're not careful.

I have been feeding my betta these and he loves them. It works great for me that they float so they don't sink to the bottom and get wedged in the gravel. My only real criticism is that these pellets get kinda big in the water, and they can be a little big for my betta boy.

The first ingredient in this is wheat flour followed by fish meal. Fresh/ whole fish should be the main ingredient as bettas are carnivores. Fish meal is not good. In betta food, look for fresh fish instead of fish meal and make sure wheat flour isn't the first ingredient. It can be the second but not the first. A better brand than this would be Omega One.
