I have officially given up on trying to be a "fancy" cat parent because my cat has made it very clear that my taste in expensive food is absolute garbage. I have spent years and a small fortune on high end boutique brands that featured ingredients like wild caught venison, hand harvested kale, and ancient grains, and my cat looked at those bowls like I was trying to poison him. I would set down a plate of fifteen dollar organic salmon mousse or those limited ingredient diets that cost more than my mortgage, and he would sniff it once before looking at me with pure, unadulterated contempt. But the moment I open this massive 13.5 lb bag of Temptations Seafood Medley, he acts like he has just been rescued from a desert island, proving that all those premium labels were just expensive paperweights in his eyes. He wants absolutely nothing to do with the "finer things" in life unless those things come in a giant bag of seafood flavored crunchies. He has spent a decade being a picky eater who would not finish a single meal, but now he is polishing off these kibbles like his life depends on it. It is actually a bit insulting that he prefers the stuff that does not require a bank loan to purchase, but I cannot argue with an empty bowl. He has traded his high maintenance persona for a seafood obsession that makes him patrol the kitchen like a hungry shark, and honestly, the sheer joy he gets from these crunchy bits is worth more than any organic, non GMO, hand massaged pate I could ever buy.

aI just happen to read Notty Jan 15, 2026 review and boy did it strike home. I wish it was different but he nailed it. As he did, for over 50 years I have spent enough money on elite cat food to buy a vacation home in Hawaii. And guess what, most of it could have been donated to a rescue and done a lot more good. While i love to read the ingredients and marketing drivel on food that costs several dollars per ounce i finally gave up and am sticking with the know brands such as Purina. the cost is reasonalble, so is this one, and the cats love it. I know of no cat that has died early because he ate l temptations vs. fussie cat or inaba or blue, or whatever. Even my vet admits they like the cheap stuff and unless there is a health issue with them, let 'em have it. so my guild is finally gone... ahhh... what a freeing feeling... go head babies, enjoy!!!

Our Hemingway, Mochi loves the Temptations food and treats and she is otherwise a very picky eater. We were at the vet and the assistant tried to give her a Temptation treat and I said, “Oh, she doesn’t like treats.” Mochi then proved me wrong by eating four of them. She’s happy; we are happy.

My cat Bailey loves trying her new cat food, Temptations's Tempting Tuna and Chicken Flavor Adult Dry Cat Food this spring. Since she loves eating her Temptations treats, I knew she would love trying this dry cat food and eating it from the bowl. She devoured it, even when I've used it for her ongoing kennel practice to go to the vet. It's double delicious and would keep your cat satisfied for hours.

I have 3 inside cats,and none of them want to eat this food.i fed it to the outside barn cats,but they picked through it and just left it.i had to mix my remaining

I was able to test this cat food out recently for free and I am glad I did. I have two cats and I feed many outside as well I have to say that this cat food is a hit with both the inside and outside kitties. As soon as I poured the food in the bowl my cats devoured it. My long furred cat Peluche is very picky so I am glad he really liked it. It wasn’t too surprising though because they love the Temptations Cat treats alone and this food has treats in it as well. So all in all I say it’s a win win because I discovered a new cat food my kitties like and the price is very reasonable. I will be purchasing the bigger bag for my cats next time I go shopping for cat food.

my order came on two separate days,and the first box was smaller,and ok..the next day i received a much larger box with some bigger items in it,and the box had been

my order came on two separate days,and the first box was smaller,and ok..the next day i received a much larger box with some bigger items in it,and the box had been crushed on all sides..my thought was, "oh no,"because that has happened before and all of the "kibbles" in the sacks had been torn open and were all over the box! i carefully dragged it into the garage and cut the places i could to open it..thankfully the inside had been "padded " with one piece of corrigated cardboard and some packing paper,so the items,although a little beaten up,were not cut open as had happened once before...management of chewy needs to advise fedex to be more cautious in the movement and delivery of a box..these should NOT arrive crushed or torn up or torn open,and i dont think they chewy warehouses are the ones who crush the boxes!..it has to be the fedex delivery people and process..thanks

I had almost given up on finding a food my cat would eat. For almost a year he used to eat strictly temptations treats and squeeze ups no matter how many different brands of food I bought. Even the most expensive or highest rated/recommended they were. I did manage to get him to drink the liquid out of the delectable stews but he would leave all the chunks. Then I found the Temptations dry cat food! He now eats a few of the Temptations treats then he heads over to his food bowl and waits for his food!!!
