I had eight feral kittens dropped off at my house in the woods. I was able to capture them all and kept them in an insulated barn over the winter last year. You could not go near them without them spitting and hissing. I developed a routine of every night going with several of these for Friskie temptation packets and within days I was a welcome visitor into their little barn so that they could each share the treat as I held it. If it had not been for Temptations, I don’t know how I would have won their hearts and they now are a huge addition to our family but a welcome one. Thank you so much Friskies! PS, I also use it daily to give my crippled indoor cat his medication. He never wastes a drop!

I have 2 of my own cats at home, but this review is in regards to my work buddy, a senior barn cat named Peanut who resides at a non profit that provides equine assisted services to children and adults with special needs. If you asked her, she'd tell you it's really a therapeutic cat petting center as she is much loved by participants, staff, and volunteers. Peanut is currently 16 yrs old, and has had some health issues that has resulted in weight loss. We do everything we can to give her the best care and quality of life, but as many cat lovers know, sometimes it can be a challenge to feed picky eaters and especially if they don't feel well. I am 100% convinced these puree cat treats have single handedly saved Peanut's life at least 2x. There have been times when she has refused to eat or drink, and the only thing she never turned down are these cat treats. She will perk right up and devour them, and it's made giving her medications and offering food so much easier. When she would not eat anything else, these treats helped to give her the calories she desperately needed to give her the energy to keep going. Her quality of life is the utmost importance to us, and when the time comes, we will make the necessary decision in regards to that. As long as she is happy and comfortable, we are grateful for all the time she has left. These puree cat treats have been an integral part of that and giving the people who love her a little more time with her. I don't write reviews often, but I can't say enough about this product and I'm so grateful that they exist. For one little senior kitty, it's truly been a blessing.

Had a senior cat diagnosed with FIP, while he was sick and we were trying to find out why he wasn't eating the vet fed him Churu's which made him hate Churu. I needed to find something to reward him during FIP treatment and to hide medication in and this was the winner!!! He loves it and we are about a year out from his original diagnosis. He survived treatment and is cured!!!! He gets a nightly pill for high blood pressure (not sure if this came before or after FIP) and he actually comes into the kitchen to get his meds every night. Some might consider this the fast food version of Churu but it's Charlie's favorite. His siblings also love them but they love anything.

It turned my cats into bullies. I have 16 cats. That is a lot of bullying to handle for one person. Luckily I bought the 2 pack of 48 so I had 96 of these things. They are not lasting long though. I cannot sit down without my 20 year old, Monty, coming to meow into my face, relentlessly, until I gave in and gave him one. Then one wasn’t enough and 3 more tubes later, he might, just might, let me relax. My other 20 year old, Toby, is way more polite but has the sad eyes of Puss n Boots when he wants something so I am weak. Let’s just say the rest of my crew has learned these tricks from these two old men and I have lost. It’s been less than a week and I think I have 30 tubes left. So yes, 5 stars but no, I won’t buy these anymore. Don’t do drugs kitties lol!

Note that at least 2 Chewy reviews here mention the words bloated, puffed up, or spoiled, and know that food with bacteria produces gas like CO2 that makes the food swell and the pkg to bloat. I feel bad because I was giving my cat these. They were not bloated and the date was safe. But she was vomiting and it took getting a hugely bloated tube to get my attention. Also note the fact that some cats just walked away. How do cats tell if something is dangerous to eat? Smell! Bloating is just the LAST stage of spoilage. My cat left it in the bowl a few times but I wasn't listening. I checked the best buy date and it's 5-28-26 and today is 11-21-24! What's concerning is that you learn that these things we've been giving our furry friends is manufactured in Germany and then sold in the US by MARS Petcare. The EU and US have safety rules coverings pet food but NOT the sell by dates. I know they both frown on untrue labeling. So, what's going on here? Sitting in a hot warehouse too long? Or a hot shipping container too long? Wonder where Chewy stores their stock or MARS Pet Care for that matter? Germany and US have experienced unusually hot summers. IDK what to say except never feed your fur baby something out of a bloated tube, if it stinks don't bother and, most importantly listen to your kitty--if she turns her cute little nose up throw it away and get a Sorry can't get photos to add on app.

Unfortunately, I may have gotten a spoiled set, although it’s not close to the expiration date. When I first opened a packet to feed my babies I realized it was spoiled. After two days of good packets I landed on more packets that were spoiled like the photo. One the left is a good packet with its creamy consistency, and on the right is one of the spoiled packets which has this clumpy texture with an odd smell. Now I’m a very nervous to purchase the purees.
