Caused our bunny an upset tummy

We always use only Oxbow products but when we saw this and our bunny's birthday was coming up we figured it would be a great thing to challenge his foraging instincts

We always use only Oxbow products but when we saw this and our bunny's birthday was coming up we figured it would be a great thing to challenge his foraging instincts. Big mistake. When we opened it up there were two things I removed prior to even putting it in his cage because I thought "how could this even be safe for bunnies?" Less than 24 hours after giving it to him his stool was watery. Took him to the ER and they checked him out gave him some medicine. We removed the toys from his enclosure completely. Next day he was fine and back to his normal self. This is a company that makes bird toys... maybe they should stick to that. But I guess I'll take some of the blame for not trusting my gut that a company for bird toys might not make toys that are 100% safe for bunnies.
