This is a great quality forage product to supplement during the winter months, we have started to switch our horses to forage only!

I have been feeding alfalfa pellets for years. I wanted to find some on Chewy so I could start an autoship and not have to go to the grain store as often. I did some research on the oat grass component of these pellets, as I had never fed oat grass before. Alfalfa Oat Grass is moderate in protein, high in digestible fiber, and low in carbohydrates. I am very pleased with this for my senior horse, and she likes it very much.

So glad chewy is carrying this. So many forage supplements are full of junk, fillers, and sweeteners - this one is only two ingredients. It soaks pretty quickly and is great quality. It’s also very fresh from chewy, I think my previous supplier may have had it sitting in a warehouse for a long time. I’ve bought it from chewy 3 times now and every time has been great, very fast delivery and zero issues. I really hope chewy continues to carry this as it’s one of my horses’s dietary staples and this is the best price for it!

Quality is good, consistent through the bag, and my ponies are happy. It is hard to find oat /alfalfa pellets. For years I was able to purchase them from a local mill, but since we moved, no luck until now.
