Healthier than other brands

I have been searching high and low for a healthy cat food for my cats. I recently switched from Halo to Solid Gold due to the fact that Halo contains Sodium Selenite

I have been searching high and low for a healthy cat food for my cats. I recently switched from Halo to Solid Gold due to the fact that Halo contains Sodium Selenite which is toxic. Contact may irritate skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Toxic by ingestion, inhalation and skin absorption. I also wanted a food that did not contain Carrigeenan which is known to cause tumors and other stomach/intestinal problems. The only thing I do not like about Solid Gold is that it contains Canola Oil, an oil no one should be ingesting but this is the only cat food I have found that I feel is the best choice/healthiest for my cats so far. My cat is 12 years old, still very healthy and active, plays a lot and seems to love this food. I will continue to buy this and I recommend this brand.

Looks tasty, but rather expensive!

I got these six oz cans because I figured each would be good for about 2 meals for my cat, however, the can says that you should feed 2+ cans a day! I just supplement

I got these six oz cans because I figured each would be good for about 2 meals for my cat, however, the can says that you should feed 2+ cans a day! I just supplement with dry food, though. The stuff looks really good, really high quality. Just flakes of fish, like you would find in canned fish for people, mixed with some scary brown/gray gravy. It seems closer to "real" food than almost any canned cat food I've purchased. (Those expensive fancy feast "appetizers" are pretty close, though, for comparison). My cat is totally obsessed with it!!

Too much gravey

The Solid Gold Tuna only recipe is much better. The tuna & mackerel has too much gravey and not enough fish chunks. Tried the mackerel for a change and my cat ate

I’ve been buying from Chewy for years. Products are fine. However, Chewy is getting expensive. The $30 gift certificate when you buy $100 is largely irrelevant now

We finally found a brand that stopped our cat vomiting!

This brand of cat food has been a God send. My cat would vomit all cat food brands even vet prescribed prescription diets. Until I found this brand in a pet store

This brand of cat food has been a God send. My cat would vomit all cat food brands even vet prescribed prescription diets. Until I found this brand in a pet store. It's gluten & grain free holistic food. We Mashing it down into her bowl with a drop of warm water as I have done with all brands...and she loves this brand bonus being she does not vomit it back up...I store it in the refrigerator in a glass jar once opened and do small feeds often through out the day same as have done since birth and this has been the ONLY brand we found out of MANY that has stopped the vomiting. As long as we mash it down a little serving it up...and adding a little water as have done with all brands. 3 yrs and many brands tried and this one works!!! My cat is now 4 yrs old has gained weight since she can keep this down and is thriving. A happy Mommy here!!

Most disgusting cat food - HE LOVES IT!

This is absolutely disgusting. Huge chunks of fish and gross stuff. My cat could not get enough of it. He licked the bowl clean and then flipped his bowl over looking

This is absolutely disgusting. Huge chunks of fish and gross stuff. My cat could not get enough of it. He licked the bowl clean and then flipped his bowl over looking for more. Be prepared for some nasty stuff. It is definitely not a nicely processed food that appeals to adults.

This stuff aint cheap, and in fact, it's the most expensive wet food i've bought my cats, but they love this (and natural balance) more than any wet food i've bought

This stuff aint cheap, and in fact, it's the most expensive wet food i've bought my cats, but they love this (and natural balance) more than any wet food i've bought them (and i've tried over a dozen). One cat is very finicky with food and he chows down every time on solid gold. Mackerel & Tuna recipe has been a hit as has the sardines recipe. It's worth the cost- grain free and loaded with fish in the essential first ingredients.

I like Chewy and was starting to feel loyal, but then I discovered that their price for Catit cat food was $2.49 for one item and I can find it in several other places, the same flavors, for $1.32 for one item. So I'm wondering why the huge price difference? I have noticed, during the time I've been ordering from them, that their prices tend to be average or a little bit higher but this price difference is not acceptable and I bought it elsewhere. The Solid Gold cat food was an average price and my three little cats love it so I was happy to get it from chewy.
