I have tried to manage his diet, and it seems a whole week he'd be great, then he'd have another attack..I looked into so many non prescription food that my guy could eat..I saw a review about another dog with my dogs issues. I bought 3 cans to see if he could handle it. He ate all 3 cans I went to chewy bought the 6 pack he's doing great!! No attacks So happy I came across the review to lead me to this food! It really helps!

Perfect for Pancreatitis Pup

I am dealing with a chihuahua with pancreatitus. It's hard to find food that is low fat and not prescription. I am a fan of this brand for their quality and variety

I am dealing with a chihuahua with pancreatitus. It's hard to find food that is low fat and not prescription. I am a fan of this brand for their quality and variety. Most importantly, my dog actually likes it. Note that room temperature seems to be the ideal way to feed it. He will eat a can over the course of a couple of days and I notice if it's cold, he doesn't want it. I mix it up with some quality hard food or alternate it with other things to keep it interesting. Glad I found this product.

We have a dog with chronic pancreatitis and sky high liver enzymes, that had been eating a prescription low fat diet for years. We had some unexpected expenses and decided to try this since it was a little cheaper than his prescription diet and still really low fat… he no longer throws up after eating at all and his liver enzymes have gone way down (they’re still high, but for the first time the vet was impressed). So we will be sticking with this food!

Excellent low fat food

My boxer has pancreatitis. Had her on many low fat foods which worked but she was losing too much weight. I now give her this food along with the same formula in

My boxer has pancreatitis. Had her on many low fat foods which worked but she was losing too much weight. I now give her this food along with the same formula in dry. She has no problems and is gaining back the weight she lost.

Great for dogs in need of a low fat diet

My mini schnauzer had to have his gallbladder removed last year and the vet prescribed a low fat diet for the remainder of his life in order to not stress his liver

My mini schnauzer had to have his gallbladder removed last year and the vet prescribed a low fat diet for the remainder of his life in order to not stress his liver. He was originally on the prescribed Purina veterinary formula, but I hated the low quality ingredients. I went searching for a better option and found this food. My boy loves it and has had absolutely no issues with eating it. His skin and coat look healthier and I feel better feeding him better quality food. Plus it is cheaper than the prescription food! Win-win!
