I ordered these for the senior member of our herd because keeping older horses feeling their best is always a priority. The pellets mixed easily into his regular feed and blended in well. As expected, my two other horses would have happily eaten them without a second thought. The real challenge was convincing our old gentleman. He has very strong opinions about anything new that appears in his feed bucket. His usual approach is to stare at it, sniff it, and silently hope I reconsider my life choices. I mixed the pellets into his regular feed, and after a careful inspection, he decided they were acceptable and cleaned up his meal without any drama. That's about as enthusiastic a review as he gives anything. I appreciate that this supplement is formulated specifically for senior horses and that it was easy to incorporate into our normal feeding routine. If you have an older horse who tends to question every new addition to dinner, this is definitely worth considering. Around here, earning the approval of our old man is no small accomplishment.
Definite improvement
My 33 y o TWH mare simply would not eat the product. She ate around it when mixed into her feed. However, my 30 y o Welsh pony mare ate the product and it helped

I noticed after about 10 days her movements weren’t as stiff. She didn’t nod as much, and she seems more comfortable over all. She could lift her feet a little higher over the threshold of her corral to be turned out each day. After 3 weeks other people noticed she was more fluid, too. I wish my old stubborn TWH would eat it as she could use the help more than the pony. It smells fresh and I can’t understand what she objects to.

I specifically wanted to try this for him since it might help his joints, hooves and skin and coat, all in one supplement. With that said, it's not cost effective for me to use for all five, though. He loves it and wants more than the recommended dose🤣. And he seems to do well on it. I trust SmartPak as a brand.

I love this 3 in 1 combo supplement for all my older horses. I mix the pellets in w/ their feed and even my picky eaters enjoy. It has MSM, glucosamine, omega 3, prebiotics and probiotics amongst other ingredients! It’s great for keeping stiffness at bay. I love that it helps keep their coats bright and shiny, hooves and joints healthy all for one lower price!

We received the smart pak smart combo senior supplement pellets about a week ago. So far I can see that our 33 year old horse enjoys having a scoop of these pellets
We received the smart pak smart combo senior supplement pellets about a week ago. So far I can see that our 33 year old horse enjoys having a scoop of these pellets added to his grain. They smell great. Also, we have been using the pellets as training treats as we clicker train our donkeys. As a low sugar supplement that all the equines enjoy this is a great product. It comes in a resealable bag and a scoop is included. I will be purchasing this again.
Yummy stuff according to my horse
My horse thinks stuff is absolutely delicious and would eat the entire bag in 1 sitting if he could. It smells very good and almost makes me want to try it myself
