Calming a grieving horse
I lost my 29 yo mare on Christmas Day sadly...she was my heart. I knew my remaining mare Vrome (19 yo Friesian) would be heart sick like me so I wanted some support
I lost my 29 yo mare on Christmas Day sadly...she was my heart. I knew my remaining mare Vrome (19 yo Friesian) would be heart sick like me so I wanted some support for her to handle the grief and that loneliness til we could get a buddy for her. As it worked out, my BFF needed a new place for her boy to go so he is here now. We have them both on Calm to help them with this transition, seems to be working very well as both Vrome and Wally seem happy and doing well. I highly recommend for any horse going thru some kind of stressful situation.

Ingredients are good, not always noticeable though.

I'm hoping it takes the edge off in general but in the evenings she's not the easiest to work with, high nerves still some days.

She will not eat it
I thought I ordered the Smart Calm that just contains magnesium and other minetals, but this one contains L-tryptophan, and she refuses to eat it.
