In some equines, with age comes some stunning cunning when it comes to avoiding taking meds. Max absolutely will not take his medication no matter how we try to disguise it or hide it. SmartEquine Smart & Simple Chasteberry Pellets was Definitely worth trying with Max. From Day 1 Max has Willingly consumed his daily ration. He eats it with Gusto and never leaves it behind. The horses eat it well, I am not sure they even notice it is there. Years before this product was hard to find. The ingredients are clean and straight forward. This kind of product will need some time to show results, and the results might be subtle. I have used this kind of product before and it worked then. This is much easier to dose and administer. It is a very very tiny pellet. Messy eaters might waste or loose some if eating only dry food. Mixed into a mash or something more sticky will be helpful. Feeding it by hand is hard too, it is really a small pellet.

Very easy to feed. Pellets make it easy to dose.

She likes these pellets alot. She has Cushings, so i am careful what she gets. Easy to feed in pelleted form. They seem to level her out during her "mare days".

My vet told me to try Chasteberry on my mare who had just developed Cushings. In looking into it, it said it works on riggy geldings, too, and it does! My gelding, who tested negative for a crypt orchid, loves the ladies a bit too much. I've tried two other products to help, with limited success, but this Chasteberry eliminates about 90% of his "excitement."

He has a somewhat rough/dull coat and I'm hopeful this might help with that. It could take several months to see improvement, so it is really too early to tell what our results are going to be.
