This product must smell really good to my dog because when I brought the delivery box in off the porch, and before I opened it, he had his nose on the box immediately. The package inside was sealed tightly but he knew he wanted it before I opened. And he loves it.

My 10-pound Pomeranian mix eats this food with gusto no less than cookies or potato chips. Considering he also gobbles up cat poop, I won't rate it from his perspective. I definitely like the ingredients. I just wish there was visual evidence of the ingredients. Both before and after adding water, it looks like cardboard. No specks of green beans or dandelion greens and no specks of blue from the blueberries. And after soaking for hours, there's no tinge of red from the blood of the meat and organs. I used a different brand freeze dried raw and I could really see specks before and after soaking in water. The other brand didn't have the appearance and texture of cardboard.

Have one with a sensitive stomach and one with sever allergies/deregulated alarm system and this food allows for balanced nutrients, not raw for sensitive tummies but balanced. The limited ingredients allow for observation for allergies but enough to give nutritional needs. The gentle steaming cooks enough to settle easier on sensitive tummies. Very happy with the food and texture once properly hydrated. Should look like finely ground cooked meat.

Ever since we started feeding our dog Small Batch, she’s been eating her meals by herself (we used to have to hand feed) and her bowel movements have been fantastic (which is wild because she used to get upset stomach/diarrhea at least once a month). So she loves this food & we love this feed. It’s convenient, easy to prepare, and we love all the organic ingredients. It’s pricey but absolutely worth it.
