These are great as a tempting high value treat for my pets. Both the anxious/nervous dog and ravenous cats in my house ate and enjoyed these treats. They are a good size whole for a medium dog and for the cats I was able to break them up into smaller pieces for consumption. They have a slight roasted poultry smell which I like and are slightly but not overly greasy. I’m very pleased with these treats overall and would get more.

I'm really glad I discovered these treats. I've been crushing them into flakes and using them as a topper which my cats love. I have to give meds to two cats. I mix the medication into a broth or bisque and then flake one of these treats over the top - the result is the cats just eat up the medication rather than avoiding the bowl. Worth a try if you have to crush a medication in food for your dog or cat.

Okay, so I have tried several kinds of freeze dried treats for my cats & I have to say it's so hard to keep ordering or even ordering a different kind from a company and it's consistently fresh. I have had some brands be way to hard, the bag is mostly dust, or the treats are extremely dried out to where there isn't a smell to entice a kitty. So far I haven't had any of these problems with Smallbatch & yes I know they went through some hiccups years ago, but they listened & go above & beyond. The treats are always fresh, smell enticing to the pickiest eater (yes I have one of those) & easy to break up if they are slightly big for a cat. Will continue to order from them & I hope they continue to keep the great quality they have.
