From Bowl to Body, Better Starts Here

I take a couple out of the freezer the night before, put it in the fridge, then for breakfast I break them up with a fork and mix it in with his kibble :)

I have a very finicky 11 year old chiweiner. I have spent thousands trying to feed him. It's been a problem for the last 5 years. I bought this food to try knowing he would hate it. To my surprise he likes ves it!! The first night he couldn't eat it fast enough! I bought the turkey as well and switch them up daily. He has gained weight, is more friendly, has more energy and even sleeps better. I am beyond grateful for this food for my little old man. Thank you Smallbatch for making a food my dog loves that is good for him.

The concept for these is genius, they're shaped like soil pellets that you add water to and they expand. However, the amount needed to feed a dog based on its size increases very quickly and the bag would go quickly if your dog is not a small breed. The pellets themselves do require that you break them up prior to adding them to hot water for rehydration. I can see this being really useful if you're bringing your pet on a road trip or camping, but not very practical for everyday use.

Our dog LOVES this food. She's generally good about drinking enough water, but it's an added bonus that this helps keep her hydrated as well. Honestly, the only downside is the smell. It's pretty strong, which is not a win for me, but is a win for the dog, who immediately gets excited, then inevitably frustrated that she has to wait at least five minutes for the food to hydrate. She loves the taste, though, so apparently it's worth the wait.

80% beef meals Della (80 lbs) throughly enjoyed. We were a little suspicious of the feeding recommendations, for her weight she needs 32 sliders and 8 cups of water. Divided between 3 meals it's a little more manageable. You do need to leave about 30 - 45 for the sliders to soak before feeding.

This food is delicious and tasty and the most healthy dog food you can give your dog. No chemicals or chemical preservatives. Raw freeze dried food you can feed dry as a treat which my dog loves or as a meal and just add water. I will be getting more of this for my dog and get him off what I thought was healthy dog food and super expensive that needed a Dr RX which is not really healthy for him. Read the labels on your dog food and compare to this dog food. You will be amazed at the bad ingredients in your current pets dog food. I’ll be looking to see if they make a cat formula as I will get that too. Try it you and your dog will not be disappointed.

Small Batch started as a company geared who wanted to do better, but their service and product have gone down hill! From erroneous feeding guidelines to refusing to speak with customers, it is time to look for a company that better fits my values. Any company who is too busy to address customer questions will NOT earn my hard earned money and business. Additionally, the product's quality is not as elevated as other quality brands such as Evermore, Raised Right, Green Juju, Goodness Gracious, etc. There are too many AMAZING brands to choose from to settle for less. Waited too long for a response. Goodbye Small Batch.

When I first got this I used it as a topper for my dog Brewley. He's a 55 pound collie mix and can be very picky with his food and treats. When I opened this package he started to whine he was so excited. When I gave it to him he gulped it all down, which was fun to watch because he has a slow feeder.

My dogs were raised on raw, but we've been doing van life for 7 months and raw was getting challenging. I have one PICKY PICKY PICKY eater and one that will eat anything. My picky Pom LOVES THIS food and actually prefers it dry [shrugs]. Very happy with this product and I feel good about the quality of ingredients.

Great for travel anxiety

I happened to get this when my neighbor moved and forgot to update her address. When interference she told me to keep it. I hadn’t really used it until this week

I happened to get this when my neighbor moved and forgot to update her address. When interference she told me to keep it. I hadn’t really used it until this week. I have a dog that typically refuses to eat when we travel because of his anxiety, however this time, I decided to try the freeze dried beef. To my surprise he actually loves it. I break a slider in half, one for picky eater and the other half for the one that eats without fail. Break it up into pieces, add a little water, stir and serve. He cleans his bowl!!! Now he won’t get this all the time but when we travel, it works!
