How many liters would this be equivalent to?

What chemicals can be found in this product? Is it just 100% recycled paper or are there additives? Thank you!

Answer by ChewyMay 26, 2023
This litter is made from 100% recycled paper.

Does this bedding have any kind of odor?

Answer by ChewyJun 25, 2025
This bedding is designed to offer exceptional odor control and maintain a fresh-smelling habitat for small pets. It’s made from post-consumer recycled paper with no added baking soda or harmful chemicals, making it both safe and clean. The bedding is low-dust, non-allergenic, eco-friendly, and biodegradable – perfect for pet parents who care about the environment as well as their little ones' comfort. There is no indication that this bedding should have any inherent odor. Individual experiences may vary depending on pet type, pet health, and how frequently the habitat is maintained, but the bedding itself is crafted to minimize and manage odor effectively.

Not as much product as I hoped

The actual paper pellets are fine and do their job. I like that it comes in a box instead of plastic. Although it's pretty hard to pick up and pour a box. Unfortunately

Unfortunately it wasn't nearly as much product as I expected for the money and therefore not a terrific value. My local big box chain pet store consistently has a similar product in buy 1 get one 1/2 price bags, that gets me a lot more pellet for the same money.

Safe and lovely product!

This litter is a great dust-free option, yet it still does a great job absorbing. The buns don't eat it, which is also a plus, but I am not worried if they do, as

I've had several rabbits at a time over the years and this bedding has been the best and help control the odor if I miss a day or two of cleaning the litter box. Its highly obsorbant and even my rabbits seem to be loving it more than the previous bedding.

The stuff is heavy!

I like the fact that it is recycled and nontoxic. I wish it was a bit less heavy and it doesn't really help much as far as odor. So, it's kind of a trade off, depending on your preferences. I like it, but don't love it. It's quality stuff, but you need to change it a least once a week.

Love this litter!

I love this litter for my bunnies. Its low-mess, meaning its not easily stuck in their feet, controls odor and super absorbing.

Best litter pellets for rabbits

This absorbs way better than the larger pellets you find at the pet stores. These paper pellets are not packed as tightly, and they are broken up so they hold moisture well and they are lighter in weight. I also like the plastic free packaging and the pictures of small pets all over the box always sparks a conversation in my building's package room. :)

The bag didn't seem as big as the bag.I was getting in the in the past and it had a lot of dust and one of the reasons I use yesterday's news is because it's supposed to be dust free. That's a big deal when you're dealing with a rabbit.Everything they do.They do with their nose and if it's dusty that's what's gonna cause a problem for their health

Won't buy again

I love recycled bedding. I normally buy a different brand, it was sold out, and I needed bedding so I gave this a try. In my opinion this bedding is not as absorbant

I love recycled bedding. I normally buy a different brand, it was sold out, and I needed bedding so I gave this a try. In my opinion this bedding is not as absorbant as it needs to be for small pets. A concern I have is that when I did clean the cage I found mold in the bottom. I have never had this happen before.
