Small Pet Select Orchard Grass Hay Small Animal Food, 10-lb box

this hay used to be really good and my rabbits love the orchard grass but the last few orders it’s been mostly brown pieces and my rabbits will pick those out and won’t eat them. that sucks because i’m going through it faster since they’re only eating half of what i give them and wasting the other half. hoping it improves soon or i’ll have to switch to something else

I’ve used SPS before. I have ordered it from you for quite some time. All the other 20lb boxes were as expexted BUT the his box was HORRIBLE! I know SPS gets their hay from different parts of the country. I will have to buy a new box somewhere. The top of the box looked great. Nice green color UNTIL I put my hands in grabbing hay for their hay bucket. I yelled loud bc I was stuck by something. I called my husband in and his face said it all. I am sending a picture of my hay bucket so you can see it and of the hard hard pieces. Is there a way to ck the origin of the last box? The don’t want the same one. I do want orchard hay just not where that was cultivated.

I have been ordering orchard grass and Timothy Hay for my Guinea Pig and thought what a great company. Well the more I ordered the worse it got. Both kinds have lots of brown and the Timothy has nothing but green and brown stems 2 ft. Long. Orchard grass is brown and has no flowers, pics enclosed!

I’m sure not Chewy’s fault but this Pet Select hay is 1/2 really brown. I have pick through it & throw a lot of it away before giving it to my rabbit. It’s too much work because it’s mixed. Pet Select should be ashamed of their quality! It was a good price through Chewy but not if I have to throw 1/2 of the hay out! I think I’ll stick to buying the Kaytee brand in the big box at Farm & Fleet. Way better quality! I don’t want to make my rabbit sick. I didn’t notice all the brown hay because I didn’t open it right away. I still had previous hay left. My mistake
