Small Pet Select All Natural Pine Pellet Small Pet Bedding, 20-lb box

The 40lb box arrived well packaged, it had two separate boxes inside each weighing 20lbs so it makes it a bit easier to move it. I’m used to the TSC pellets and these seem better in quality! They’re a bit thicker in size and don’t smell as strongly as pine. I mixed these with some flakes on top for my colony of mice and noticed a big difference in the ammonia smell throughout the week. Using just flakes, the smell builds up quickly but using this with it worked amazing! Just be aware they tend to double in size when they get wet so keep an eye out for the water bottles being able to touch the litter, otherwise you’ll end up with an empty bottle! Luckily I check my mice a few times a day and noticed before they went too long without water. Oh and it’s not dust at all, even when it’s expanded. Would definitely buy more in the future!

These pellets have been great for my rabbits litter box. I love the somewhat woody smell they have so that it keeps odor to a minimum and it works just like the wood burning pellets I used to get from the store, only better smelling! They really absorb and hold moisture well without getting moldy. Another great thing is that they go a long way because they do spread out once they are wet. I just wish the package was bigger.

I use this in my bunny's covered litter box so she cannot eat it. I really liked how well the pine pellets kept the odors to a minimum even after a week - definitely a plus!

I liked how it trapped the smell better than other beddings I have used, but the quantity for the price is not there. I had to use quite a bit more than I hoped (this box only lasts for about three or four litter box changes for me). And their box needs a new design (unless i had a faulty box). I went to pick it up and the bottom opened and spilled the bedding all in my carpeting. . . not a good time.
