We used Simparica Trio consistently for our lovebug, Keno, with no issues at first. Years later on, he experienced a rapid onset of neurological symptoms, including seizures, followed by the discovery of a tumor, and within 6-weeks we had to send him to heaven in God's care. Our neurologist said it's possible that taking simperica trio lowered Keno's neurological threshold and unfortunately served as the gateway to Keno's seizures- which the FDA has stated is associated with isoxazoline-class medications. After discussing with our veterinarian, we chose to discontinue Simparica Trio and switch to a lower systemic-exposure approach (topical prevention for heartworm/fleas with separate tick coverage as needed). Our intent is to share our experience so other owners- especially those with dogs at higher neurologic risk- can make informed decisions and have a conversation with their vet. Keno was deeply loved, and we’re sharing this in his memory in the hope it helps someone ask one more question before choosing a preventative.

Everyone/Anyone who is middle to lower-class income and is struggling to afford to give their beloved pet the best loving, fulfilling & healthy life they can, will appreciate lower pricing of products/medication that their pets need. The communication between our vet & Chewy is extraordinary and as I state previously, very rapid turn-around on delivery. In a time where customer service anywhere is fair to below average at best, I rate Chewy a 6 out of 5!! They truly care about their customers and their pets better than any other on-line store out there that I've dealt with. Cooper, our sheltie, & I appreciate Chewy & their staff very much.

Very easy, process. The only thing was I had a coupon for $15 off on my first pharmacy purchase and I forgot to use it. I still have it and the code if you guys will accept it and give me a credit toward future Chewy purchases. Marcello and I love Chewy! Also, I accidentally ordered large size Kong Wubbas to replace ours. When I went to return, Chewy told me no need to return just donate to a local shelter. I took the three large toys to the Loudon County Animal Shelter and they were thrilled to have some new toys for the pups to chase! Thanks Chewy!

My Cavapoo roams our property on the lookout for deer, squirrels, and chipmunks keeping them out of his yard, which we know our property can be full of everything we don’t want on him, on us or in our home. Only found a tic on his fur twice and both times they were already dead. Me Shiloh was protected as he protected us lol!

I have using Simparica products for years. I started with Simparica trio over a year ago. As in everywhere you go there are ticks. After a walk I will take some off of Sophie. And I’ve found dead ones on her too. Our shih tsu is 14 years old and I have never had a problem with fleas. I’ve never ever seen on on her. Simparica does a great job and I will continue using it for her flea, tick and worm protection. By the way she has never been treated for worms either

We recently moved to an area that has longer grass, and I found 4 ticks on my dog today. I’ve never found one in 5 years before then, so in natural dog mom fashion I just about rushed him to the ER to be immediately tested for Lyme. I skipped a month or 2 of his doses because it was winter in MN and we don’t have ticks around then. Well, every tick I found on him today was dead. Flaked up, not moving, and not attached. I could tell they did attach because my poor babe had a bump, but they died almost immediately. I started this med because he contracted Giardia a few years ago and vowed I would never ever let him, or me lol, deal with that again. Today made me even more happy I made the choice! Worth every penny to keep my baby healthy and free of those tdick heads

4 stars instead of 5 due to fleas have to bite the pet in order to die. It doesn't "repel" them. We visited family out of state who had fleas in their yard and our dog suffered flea dermatitis due to fleas biting. It took us 4 months with Apoquel, shampoos and ensuring she only went out in our treated spaces to get her skin somewhat normal, and the hair to grow back. (We were out of state for a family members funeral and were there almost a week)
