My little 10 pound Chihuahua has used Simparica Trio since I've had her about 6 months now. I misplaced the box during a kitchen remodel so when it came time for her flea pill I searched everywhere I still couldn't find the box so I had to wait for a new prescription and Honey went 2 weeks without having it and she has 2 bites on one of her legs that she is chewing herself raw from. I've never seen a flea on her but she loves laying in the yard. Long story short I've covered her bites so she can't chew herself and she's back to her routine of 1 pill per month in a peanut butter flavored pill pocket. She's a biter so I can't get her to swallow it any other way.

If you are like me, I absolutely hate putting chemicals into my fur baby’s bodies. But unfortunately, fleas, ticks and mosquitoes are more deadly than ever. I’m thankful for this product, but I miss the days when i was able to keep ticks and fleas out of my yard just by using diatomaceous earth. And mosquitoes weren’t as dangerous. Also, my chihuahuas did not experience any side effects whatsoever, which I’m also thankful for. Wish it was cheaper, but nothing is these days. Oakley & Stella say “thank you!”

I’m writing to share a deeply upsetting experience I had during a recent interaction with Chewy’s customer service team. My first chat was with an agent who was kind, patient, and informative. She explained why my pet’s medication hadn’t auto shipped and offered a solution: if I could mail the prescription quickly and pay for expedited delivery, she would refund the cost of the expedited shipping. I misunderstood her offer, thinking she meant she would reimburse the medication, not the shipping cost itself. To clarify, I reached out again. The second agent I spoke with was noticeably short, impatient, and dismissive. Rather than helping me understand the situation, she made me feel mocked and unintelligent for the misunderstanding. As someone juggling full-time work and trying to resolve this during a short lunch break, I felt belittled like I was an inconvenience for simply asking questions. What hurt most was how the chat ended. After asking if I had any more questions, the agent stopped responding for a while, then sent a brief message and abruptly ended the conversation. I saved the transcript because the experience left me feeling humiliated and genuinely shaken. I understand that not every day is easy and that most Chewy agents are dedicated and kind. But no customer should be made to feel small or ridiculed over a simple miscommunication. I’ve considered switching services because of this experience, but I’m willing to give Chewy one more chance. I’m just hoping this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve how customers are treated. Thank you for your time and attention. Ps. The medication alone is wonderful and works very well for my dog.

We do not normally purchase Simparica from Chewys, but we noticed the price was lower than other vendors so we selected it. There was a note that we would have to mail our original prescription to Chewys before they would fill the prescription. The cost of mailing the original prescription as required by Chewys, it added $10.10 to the total expense. The website provided instructions on everything that would need to be done to be reimbursed the cost of the postage. We decided that it was too time consuming and costly to purchase our dog's prescription from Chewys. We did not submit any paperwork to request a refund. To our surprise, Chewys automatically processed a refund for $10.10 back to our card. We were very surprised and pleased that Chewys reimbursing for the cost of mailing the original prescription so we will continue to fill our dog's prescription with Chewys. Strongly recommend using Chewys and support their efforts to ensure they fill a prescription from an original and valid prescription.

I was worried that my dog would not eat it. I sat it on a plate with some treats and she sniffed it and pawed it out the way to eat her treats. I offered it to her by hand, she sniffed it then licked it up but spit it out. So I was getting worried that I would have to fight with her to get it down her throat. My son said we should wrap it in bacon and give it to her so we did just that and she gobbled it down. We watched her closely over the next few days and she did not vomit and have stool issues (I heard it’s common for dogs to have those side effects sometimes). I’m happy that she did not waste my money and I did not have to fight/chase her around to do the squeeze tube flea stuff just for her to rub it off on the sofa or in the dirt.
