Teddy and Cici have been on this for some years now. My other Yorkie that passed was also on Simperica. It's so tiny that you can sneak it into anything to their surprise. It will last and extra 5 days if you forget to administer on their regular day. I had TAKEN them off last fall so that they could have a break from it and give their system a rest . My pets are in door residents that live rent free. I did have them both wearing the currently popular flea and tick color, but the very strong smell of the oils was a bit too much. They did wear them during the rest period from the pill as a backup protection. After the smell weakened somewhat,( I had to leave it outdoors for a few days to air out) I decided that I would return to Simparica for my 2 pets and I got a better price with Chewy than st the vets. Anyway, I don't have to contend with the strong smell from the other method as this is a tiny pill that doesn't smell and goes down with no issues. This is an excellent flea and tick preventative and getting Chewy to contact my vet for the authorization instead of me is so appreciated. DELIVERY was timely and delivery A+. THANK YOU CHEWY.. This product seems to work well for my dog. I have been using it for about 3-4 years with no problems for my dog with respect to side effects and it has kept her flea and tick free this whole time. We live in a hot and humid climate where the winters don't get cold enough to even kill mosquitoes so I need to use this product all year round. In the past, I have used the flea and tick oils, and the seresto collars and both products did not keep my dog free of these invaders. Initially, I was worried because my dog seems to be sensitive to meds and has side effects easily. She even has side effects from the combo vaccine so I have to be careful with her. When it was first suggested that I use this product, I bought one pill from my vet just to see what type of reaction my dog would have and she had none. From that point on, I have been using this product.

I’ve been using Simparica for about 6 months now. It works great!! I live in New England where we have several types of ticks active year-round and Lyme disease is very common. In my experience topical treatments really aren’t affective here, plus my dog used to hate having the drops on her skin. This oral pill is sooo much easier and truly kills the ticks dead! I’ve found several dead ones on my dog’s bed after she gets up. We’ve never had a flea issue either and zero reactions to the medicine. Great product.
