Each day, feed Adult cats 3 portions per 5 pounds of body weight twice daily. Feed pregnant and nursing cats 2 - 3 times their normal amount. Feed a kitten up to 5 portions twice daily.

I am confused. A portion is one half of the tray or both of the trays.

Bone Fragments

I have found multiple fragments of what appears to be bone in the chicken pate. Please check your pate before you feed your cat. I noticed white pieces left behind

I have found multiple fragments of what appears to be bone in the chicken pate. Please check your pate before you feed your cat. I noticed white pieces left behind on my cats plate and they were hard and sharp. I assume it's bone fragments. You can't see it in the fresh pate but if you press in the pate with your finger, you can feel the sharp pieces. I worry my cat may have eaten some before I noticed that was happening.

Zen absolutely loves Sheba

Zen is going on 8 years, she's a beautiful tuxedo cat that was given to us from a friend who had to take back from another friend that really wasn't a cat person

Zen is going on 8 years, she's a beautiful tuxedo cat that was given to us from a friend who had to take back from another friend that really wasn't a cat person. We lucked out because our fur baby is not a picky eater but we found that she loves certain food better than others. Zen always has a bowl of dry food and we feed her wet food as a treat at dinner time. Zen knows when that is and it's hilarious the way she acts when it's that time. Zen just loves Sheba, all flavors.. Zen has eaten fancy feast and regular friskees but chooses Sheba over the others. As her humans, I feel better feeding her quality food that is not made with fake ingredients. Zen is a very happy cat especially when she has a full belly of Sheba. I highly recommend Sheba.

That he would eat it

He was shaved as he wouldn't groom himself. I'm sure the mats were hurting him. He wouldn't let me groom him. Now I have a special brush and he will get on my lap

Cats love Sheba!

My cats have been eating Sheba pate since they were little kittens. I've tried almost all of the pricier brands and textures, to give them more variety, but Sheba pate is the only food that they will lick their bowls clean .... every time. They hate eating chunks so it has to be pate and this variety pack offers 2 of their favorite flavors at a great price! My cats like a lot of juice so I found that by putting them in a bowl of hot water prior to opening, the juice releases from the food and settles at the bottom. I scoop out the food then pour the juice over it and it's a winner every time. There is never any wasted food so we're all happy.

You guys already know that we have a full house here when it comes to the cats. We have 9 of our own and 3 kittens that we are fostering until we can find them forever homes through Spaymart. Having 9 cats, though, is a tough crowd to please when it comes to food and treats. The Sheba Perfect Portions Cat Food Trays were another great hit for our house. What I like about these is that they are single portions so I can kind of spread them out so everyone isn't crowded and fighting for a bit. Each tray is the perfect portion for 1 cat. Of course, a down side is that they can't really eat right out the tray and you have to dump them out. The food slides right out though so it's not a pain like some of those canned pate brands. So they have some good and bad facts about these. Of course, the main thing is, the cats loved them and gobbled them down as if they hadn't eaten in weeks! Needless to say, this brand of cat food was another great hit in our house and is one we would buy again. My only concern is all the ingredients. It makes me question exactly how healthy it is. Regardless, though, for us, we give the wet food as a treat and for that extra water intake, so it's not a big deal. However, for those looking for strictly "healthy" food and treats, may want to research the ingredients before purchasing. Like I said, not a problem for us, but depending on your cat(s) and it's diet, is where you may have a bit of concern.

I fed my son Sheba towards the last 3 months of his life. Keep in mind after his diagnosis he wasn't supposed to live for 2-3 months longer. After he beat those odds I switched him to Sheba fully. As the cancer spread, hair that had fallen out grew back because of his quality nutrition. He lived 6.5 months after his diagnosis. I put him to sleep Monday after watching for the cue that he was tired and ready to go. Medicine, quality food, and most importantly love had my boy fight an unwinable fight and still give us the time to share our love and come to find acceptance. I will always love you Whistler

I’ve been buying Sheba Perfect Portion pate for quite a few years now. One of my cats needs to eat grain free food due to an allergy. I feel the quality of the food is very good and the portion size really is perfect. This pate is also great for cats that don’t like any kind of chunk or shred style cat food. All of my cats want to eat it.

Always a fresh meal

My cat is 2 years old and weighs five pounds, as you can guess she doesn't eat a very large meal. I feed her twice a day and give her half a can of wet food morning

My cat is 2 years old and weighs five pounds, as you can guess she doesn't eat a very large meal. I feed her twice a day and give her half a can of wet food morning and night. After putting her remaining half in the fridge she was hardly enthusiastic by dinner time. Her meal being cold and congealed, it looked gross to me too, but I couldn't exactly leave her food out all day! These perfect portions ensure her meals are fresh and she always licks her plate clean. No more throwing away cold uneaten meals for us!

My landlord started ordering Chewy products when I recently moved next door to him. Previously, he was feeding his cat the cheapest grocery store dry food & that's it. Now, his sweet, but very overweight, kitty, Skip, dines on American Journey dry food & Sheba twice a day (because it's so easy - no leftovers, etc.). I originally purchased the Sheba variety pack that included chicken, turkey, & beef. However, Skip didn't like the beef flavor & actually threw up after eating it. So, I was thrilled to find that Sheba & Chewy offer just the poultry options, no beef. Now Skip is a happy camper!
