It is recommended to feed adult cats 3 portions per 5 lbs of body weight twice daily. Feed pregnant and nursing cats 2 - 3 times their normal amount. Feed a kitten up to 5 portions twice daily.

The breeder of my bengals offered this brand of food. I'm not sure it's because they grew up on it or they love the taste. I try to pick out the "healthiest" wet food for my cats and Sheba is a B/C-grade healthy cat food. Other premium cat food brands, my cats will not eat like TikaCat (they cant stand it, Wuerva is another brand they do not like) My cats will finish their plate when Sheba is offered.

I have four cats and they all agree that Sheba is their dessert! I am able to use a small portion during our play time to encourage them all to participate in the activity. This product is great because, even though it is more expensive than their regular wet food they get once a day, I only have to open 1-2 servings and avoid wasting food. My cats love the fish variety with the gravy. The gravy is the real hit, but they eventually eat the solid morsels as well.

She licks all the gravy, juice, etc. but won't actually eat it. I've given her a long time to see if she would finally actually eat it, but she just doesn't. As for me, I find the food containers very hard to open. I've cut myself on the foil several times and I've never managed to get one open without getting a mess on the counter. The two-packets are supposed to separate easily after folding, but they often don't. If I force them apart often both of them tear open, meaning one has to be stored in the refrigerator.

My senior kitty, Sammy, loves the Sheba brand wet food. He eats the ones in gravy. He really doesn't care for the Pate style. I also want to mention that I love Chewy. They have the #1 best customer service. They outshine most every other company. When my sister's dog passed away Chewy sent her flowers! What other large company would ever do something like that?! None that I could ever think of. I will remain a Chewy customer as long as I have pets. I will also feed them Sheba wet food. I do feed my kitty a high quality dry food as well. Hopefully that will be for as long as I lve!! Here is my 14 year old Sammy!

Our kitties recently tired of the canned food they've happily eaten for years, so this Sheba product is one of two new options I tried. I was disappointed with how difficult it was (for me) to open the containers, and it seemed like a lot of waste going into the landfill for a small serving of cat food. And... neither of my kitties liked the food. :-(
