It is recommended to feed adult cats 3 portions per 5 lbs of body weight twice daily. Feed pregnant and nursing cats 2 - 3 times their normal amount. Feed a kitten up to 5 portions twice daily.

My kitties (middle-aged furballs) were having a lot of tummy troubles...like, a LOT. Plus my ginger girl is round like a pumpkin--which is, unfortunately, her name (should've gone with banana or summer squash, I guess; sorry, Pumpy). My vet recommended cutting out grain so I tried several different wet food options. This was the favorite by far! They turn their nose up at the others. We're going full-on seafood Sheba from here on out. And while Pumpers is still majestically rotund, she has gained so much energy and she's become really playful! (Not great when she's attacking my cursor, but still, I'll take it!) The tummy troubles in all of them have virtually disappeared as well. Overall, I have a happy, healthy furry herd, which makes me a happy kitty mommy!

Entitled Treats

My Lovely is a Sweet girl, she knows when it's Sheba time.... She wakes me up at 6:00 in the morning to get up and give her her breakfast which is Toshiba portion

My Lovely is a Sweet girl, she knows when it's Sheba time.... She wakes me up at 6:00 in the morning to get up and give her her breakfast which is Toshiba portion I also feed her blue dry cat food and I put five temptation treats in the middle of her dry Blue food, drinks a little water goes up on her Tower and she sleep until she comes down for her dry treats on a dry food she does this like clockwork every morning she'll come over and meow's & touches me as to say time to get up I'm n hungry...feed her her food and then she retires for the morning! she loves the fish variety more than the chicken and beef and she's such a sweetheart so she's entitled to her morning breakfast and I have no problem giving it to her thank you for all that you do, you bless my life with a joyous cat ....

Ordered yesterday-Sat and got today. I am amazed. My cat decided he only liked fish flavors 2 weeks ago and that was Sheba's tuna and salmon. He had been eating beef, chicken and turkey for 12 years So I bought this bigger case that also included whitefish. He's on a vet diet of 3 ounces a day-he weighs 20lbs, so with these exact packages I can put his supplements and medicines in this little portion and he eats it right up. Customer service is number 1 at Chewy-if you have any problem with an order just call them and they will gladly help you.

Our Lucy has exhibited some signs of food allergy so we're switching up her food to try and determine what it is. While Sheba isn't super limited ingredient, it does lack grain and preservatives, so we're starting here. Time will tell if this works to alleviate her itchiness, but I'm glad to say that she was very into breakfast this morning. She has no problem turning up her nose to something unappealing to her highness, so I was quite relieved and then panicked in turn when I realized the packaging says nothing about grain free - did I get the wrong box by mistake? In researching, I found that all of sheba's products are grain free, they just don't flaunt it. That's fine, ok, phew.

I was shocked to see what was in the box. The entire box stunk of bugs but I didn’t realize it until I opened it in my pantry. Now I’m concerned that my food may be tainted. All chewy did was refund me. Something should have been done by a supervisor. It should have been taken more seriously. Where are they storing their food. I will no longer Oder online. I’ll go to the store and pick out my own cases. I’m so very disappointed and grossed out.

My senior kitty, Sammy, loves the Sheba brand wet food. He eats the ones in gravy. He really doesn't care for the Pate style. I also want to mention that I love Chewy. They have the #1 best customer service. They outshine most every other company. When my sister's dog passed away Chewy sent her flowers! What other large company would ever do something like that?! None that I could ever think of. I will remain a Chewy customer as long as I have pets. I will also feed them Sheba wet food. I do feed my kitty a high quality dry food as well. Hopefully that will be for as long as I lve!! Here is my 14 year old Sammy!

Supplemental feeding only- weird feeding instructions-

Feeding instructions are written: Feed Adult cats 4 - 5 servings per 5 lbs of body weight daily. This is ridiculous. The package says 48 servings, 24 twin packs

Feeding instructions are written: Feed Adult cats 4 - 5 servings per 5 lbs of body weight daily. This is ridiculous. The package says 48 servings, 24 twin packs. So a serving is one half of a twin pack. If it’s “4-5 servings per 5lbs of body weight” that’s suggesting about 1 serving per pound of cat. Or 12-15 servings for a 15lb cat. I guess the copy editor missed the mark on this one. I showed our vet and she was shocked. Said that would make any normal cat sick and lead to extreme obesity. We feed this as a supplement. One serving split, twice daily between both of our active five year old cats. They are happy and healthy. Any more than that and they had foul smelling poops and were getting overweight. We measure the dry food too, Solid Gold brand Salmon kibble.

Most important issue is the cats (2 indoor, 1 barn) all love the Sheba flavors. They are good water drinkers, but I still appreciate the gravy giving them a bit more hydration. The separate portion segments are a brilliant idea. I can split a small can of wet food for the indoor cats, but the barn cat would need the extra half of his placed in fridge until next feeding. Not only inconvenient, but he doesn’t like the cold food. The peel-off strips are usually very easy to remove. I deducted 1 star as several times lately, when I disconnect the two portions for the barn cat, the strip doesn’t rip cleanly down the middle. Instead it pulls across both portions, opening the one I want to save for later. So that portion now needs to go in fridge, and cat won’t like it cold. So, 4 well deserved stars

Raven is ADDICTED to this food. She loves all flavors, but only the cuts. She won't eat the pate. She recognizes the case when it is delivered and nags me to open it. In the morning, I get woken up by whisker kisses so I can give her Perfect Portions. Once she finishes eating, however, she forgets all about me!
