Because some pet owners may be concerned that a cat or small dog could get stuck while wearing a collar, Seresto is designed with a safety release mechanism. In the unlikely event of the cat being trapped, the cat's own strength is sufficient to widen the collar to allow for quick release.A hard pull causes the ratchet-release mechanism to allow a widening of the collar.The small dog and cat collars are equipped with a predetermined breaking point. A harder pull triggers the breaking of the collar at this point.

Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs, over 18 pounds, can be used on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older, and weighing over 18 pounds. Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Cats is intended for cats and kittens 10 weeks of age and older.

I have two cats, can both of them have collar on at the same time?

Each pet should have their own individual collar for it to be effective. It is important to note that this bundle includes a dog collar and cat collar, which are not interchangeable between species.

Lifesaver!

We recently moved to a warmer more humid climate with our two pets, a 12 year old boxer and a 1 year old calico cat. In the dryer more extreme climate we dealt with ticks plenty but fleas NEVER. Within the first month in our new home, BOOM fleas! of course we panic however we come across these collars. These have absolutely saved the day, of course after our first flea discovery on our cat we treated the animals and the house however ever since having these collars we have had no problems with fleas and our pets spend their time both indoor and out, we have recommended these collars to everyone we know. We are so grateful for this product and this price is the best on the market. It was a fast delivery and at a great price. Super happy with this purchase. Happy pets, happy life.

Was terrible for our 5 year old cat.

We got these for our cat and our dog. Our cat loves to go outside and just lay in the grass so I figured we would get her one to. It left an open wound and hair

We got these for our cat and our dog. Our cat loves to go outside and just lay in the grass so I figured we would get her one to. It left an open wound and hair lose around her neck and the collar and lose not tight at all. More lose then her regular collar even which I did take off just to have the flea collar on. Our dog does fine with it nothing I have noticed noticed I with him just her. I am very disappointed in it because of this issue. Would not recommend this to a fellow cat parent.

Be careful!!!

I just took in two adult cats and bought them these collars. It worked great on one cat but on the other it irritated her neck so bad that she lost some fur and

I just took in two adult cats and bought them these collars. It worked great on one cat but on the other it irritated her neck so bad that she lost some fur and had a massive irritation around her neck. Took to the vet and they advised me not to use on my cats but my dogs use them and I have never had an issue. Maybe the formula was too strong for the one cat. The other cat was fine but as a precaution I am sending both back. Chewy was helpful in sending me a return label for a refund.

FEDEX!

Y issue isn't with chewy but the courier/ shipping department. FEDEX in central ga has major problems with its facility and can't keep up with the estimated dates

Annual purchase that works

So much easier to put the collars on first sign of ticks in the spring than remembering monthly goop for each animal, especially for the barn cats! These collars

So much easier to put the collars on first sign of ticks in the spring than remembering monthly goop for each animal, especially for the barn cats! These collars have been very effective for my animals for several years. Ticks may still climb on to the animals, but they die quickly before latching on.

I love these collars. They really work snd seems to last the 8 months as claimed. I prefer not to dose the transdermal to my old dog, and this seems to protect

I love these collars. They really work snd seems to last the 8 months as claimed. I prefer not to dose the transdermal to my old dog, and this seems to protect her. I put this brand on my kittens too- seems safe they are happy and no fleas! I’ve always gotten genuine product from chewy. Some sites have knock offs- but I’ve been pleased here every time!

Torn. Works great on my dog, but burned my cat.

I have purchased this product multiple times in the past. It is always worked wonderfully and never harmed my animals. Nothing has changed with my cat. No medicines

I have purchased this product multiple times in the past. It is always worked wonderfully and never harmed my animals. Nothing has changed with my cat. No medicines nothing. I have a 14-year-old cat and a 6-year-old dog. My dog just call her work wonderful. She had no adverse reactions, and the product is working. So I kept it on her. However I had to reach out to chewy to receive a refund for my cat's collar. Which by the way Chewy.com's customer service is amazing and wonderful (thank you). My cat within 2 days of wearing this collar had severe chemical burns. The chemical burns were directly under the collar. I mean I wouldn't have even noticed them except for I want to scratch his neck and move the collar and could see the burns around his neck. Luckily he has healed up, still missing some fur on his neck but healed. Honestly I don't know if I would recommend this product due to this scenario. My cat has always been fine with their collars. Nothing with my cat has changed at all except for his age but that haven't even really changed either. My last collar was fine.

Great Value

Seresto is an amazing product. I would never have tried it except years ago, when the breeder I got my Great Dane from recommended them, as you save tons of money

Seresto is an amazing product. I would never have tried it except years ago, when the breeder I got my Great Dane from recommended them, as you save tons of money on flea and tick prevention. I used these products for years. We now have 2 new puppies and a cat and these collars are working just as well as I remember from when we had our Danes! If you need effective protection without breaking the bank, give these Seresto collars a try!
