Sentinel Flavor Tabs for Dogs, 26-50 lbs, (Yellow Box), 6 Tablets (6-mos. supply)

I am a psycho about good preventatives, and after a horrible experience with Trifexis for my previous large dogs (they both refused to just chew the tablet, would often vomit after taking it, and then one of the dogs still developed heartworms) and hearing equally terrible things about HeartGard, I chose Sentinel for my current dog. We have been using it for a year and I am so happy with it! My dog eats the tablet like it’s candy. He is outdoors, in the woods, on the farm, around other dogs, and travels often and we haven’t had a single worm or flea issue (I do use a topical flea and tick during the summer, but feel comfortable without it during cold months). I am also happy with the price compared to other preventatives! This is an excellent product and I plan to continue using it!

We have two Australian shepherds one of them has the gene disorder that causes seizures/toxicity in the brain when he takes certain medications. One of the toxic meds for him is Trifexis but thankfully he can take Sentinel tablets! We never miss a month because we love our fur babies and would never want to risk them having heart worms. We love that this Sentinel covers some internal parasites also, keeps our mind a little at ease knowing they’re protected from multiple icky things. We will forever buy sentinel for our aussies and we love the ease of ordering from Chewy (they will contact the vet with the prescription approval form). Thanks Chewy for helping protect our babies!!!

I had had a couple of phone interactions that made me want to cancel my Chewy account, but then I was patched through to Randall in the Chewy pharmacy, who listened to me, talked me down, and turned around my entire frame of mind, while also rescuing my relationship with Chewy. Randall, who clearly embodies the company values (I honestly started that call thinking there weren’t any), did an amazing job of communicating those values while solving my issue. Even if he hadn’t been able to resolve it, I still would have finished that call thinking better of the company and assuming, based on Randall, that the company is all heart, that my experiences with reps prior to Randall were outliers, and that Chewy really does care for its customers. Randall should be training every single customer representative at Chewy. He is your gold standard and you should clone him, by promoting him and letting him lead others.

Not sure how much of a review I can give since I do not take these tabs. Maybe I should ask Armani for his input here. All I know is he gets one every month and when he does he doesn't even chew it. Just swallows. They appear to work since the vet hasn't said he has heart worm. I do wish we could get 12 at a time but I suppose there is a shelf-life limitation.
