Science Selective hamster nuggets are suitable for both dwarf species and Syrians, which makes them a very versatile option. As of now, they are one of the better complete and balanced nugget diets available on the market, especially when paired with a high-quality, varied seed mix. I personally use these alongside a Niteangel seed mix (which serves as my hamsters’ primary diet), and the nuggets work perfectly as a nutritional base to help prevent selective feeding. Both of my hamsters, my Winter White dwarf, Snippy Snips, and my Syrian, Osita Bear, find these nuggets very palatable and eat them consistently without issue. For reference: I feed 5 nuggets daily to Snippy Snips. I feed 10 nuggets daily to Osita Bear. Another big plus is the price, these are very affordable compared to many other lab blocks or nugget-style foods. Overall, I highly recommend Science Selective as part of a balanced feeding routine.

I added these pellets with my other hamster food for more nutrients, and they worked out! My hamster is fat and greedy so he isn’t super in love with these pellets because they aren’t really flavored, but he still eats them and stores them so I’ll take that as a win
