So grateful for this food. Our dog had a belly full of bladder stones shown in an xray in July and our vet put her on this food because she also has gi issues and used to need an rx food for that. We were thinking we'd need to have surgery because of the amount of stones, but we had her checked in mid October and they are gone. Cannot believe it and I'm so grateful this saved her from having surgery. She also loves the taste of it and gained 4 lbs from it... So we are watching her intake now. Vet said this was normal for urinary rx food.

Our Australian Shepherd recently had surgery to remove quite a few struvite bladder stones. A prescription diet was recommended for her. We had concerns due to her very serious chicken allergy. However, this hydrolyzed protein formula has worked wonderfully for her. She likes the food and no allergy issues. She also likes the treats of the same formula. We’re pleased that she enjoys this food,as she’ll need a prescription diet for life.

She likes it .. is eating it. Drinking a lot more water as it is dry.. she ate CD Hill wet food since she had bladder stones about 8 years ago. I suspected it was her food that aggravated her allergy resulting in constant itching that caused inflammation and sores on her skin.. yeast.. and misery. She needed antibiotics.. anti fungal and steroids for relief. I pray this food will help her.

I’m so glad you’re carrying this food now! My dog was on a prescription diet previously and I got it through you. When she had to change to the multi function food I was disappointed that you didn’t carry it. Now that you are I know I can get it quickly and easily. It’s amazing how fast I get your deliveries. It’s just a matter of 2-3 days from “Review your Auto Ship” to having it at my door. I really appreciate that!

My dog has to be on this Vet diet but he hates it. At first he was ok but after a week the novelty wore thin. The wet canned version is TOO expensive and the dry version has morsels too small for my 80 lb. dog's liking. I have to coax him and add water get him to eat half of what he should. Given he can't eat anything else with it ...it's a real struggle. We shall see on a couple weeks if the urinary SO is working/helpful

This dog food was prescribed by my pups vet because she has bladder stones. She doesn’t hate it, but isn’t a fan of it either and begrudgingly eats it. It has helped with her stones as far as I can tell as she is no longer urinating blood. We go for a follow up xray in August. Unfortunately, the con to this food is she has gained some skin issues from it. She is very flakey, itchy, and is starting to get scaly patches on her face and chest. She has a chicken allergy but we’re assured because it was hydrolyzed it was supposed to alleviate the allergy, but for her it’s not the case. I really wish there was an S/O out there that didn’t have any chicken related ingredients. So far I haven’t found it, even if it’s beef or fish, there is some form of chicken product in the ingredients. =_= We will keep on this for now, as our only other course of action is homemade.
