Royal Canin probiotics for dogs - Small packet, easy to open and pour out. I give my dogs a combination of 1 cup dry kibble and then a packet of wet dog food with gravy split between them. At first, we just sprinkled on top and they didn't want to eat, now we sprinkle the probiotics over and mix them in and the dogs gobble out up. I've been giving to my dogs for about a week and half now. It seems to help their bowel movements be more consistent, though the first couple of days my one dog got the runs (he's got a sensitive stomach). I haven't seen them eating grass or leaves, so I will assume it's working how they are supposed to and helping break down food and benefitting their digestive tract! Same concept as probiotics for humans! Will definitely be purchasing again!

My older dog seems to benefit from probiotics daily. I was skeptical of this product because the probiotic I had been using came in capsule form and even after hiding it in canned food she still sometimes refused to take it and I would have to put it down her throat. This product is designed to be sprinkled onto food and I was concerned she may refuse to eat, but surprisingly she gobbled it up. Feel like my life just got easier. Definitely switching to this daily probiotic.

Within the first week my husband began telling me how much Scout’s poops had improved while on his morning walks. We are really pleased with this product!

Finding a probiotic that does not contain a high purine product such as liver or Brewer’s yeast has been in incredibly difficult. Dalmatians are predisposed to euro lifts in their bladder and cannot eat high purine foods two of the biggest contributors to purine are organ meats, such as liver and brewers or nutritional yeast. Our dalmatian recently had surgery for bladder stones, and we had to change his probiotic because this other one contained yeast. Finding a probiotic from a company that was reputable and actually did testing on their product was really difficult. I feed Royal Canin into some of my other animals and saw that they had released this probiotic and gave it a go and so far so good.

Our pups have both had multiple bouts of giardia and other unpleasant intestinal parasites, and they're given to loose stools. So we thought we'd give probiotics a try. The Royal Canin probiotics are really easy to use - we just sprinkle them on the dogs' food in the morning. The dogs eat it right up with no trouble. And it's pre-packaged in individual packets, so we don't have to worry about measuring it out or anything.
Missed the mark!
I have a rescue dog who has always had issues so we have him on probiotics to help. I usually use a different brand but I was given the chance to try this one so
I have a rescue dog who has always had issues so we have him on probiotics to help. I usually use a different brand but I was given the chance to try this one so I thought I would try it. Well, unfortunately my dog threw up after the first time using it. Coincidence? Maybe. Not really sure but with his sensitive stomach, I don't want to take the chance. Also, in reviewing the ingredients, I see that it only contains one form of probiotic, whereas several other products, including the one I usually use, uses a variety of different ones which I think is much more beneficial for dogs. Dogs do not have only one kind of bacteria in their gut so I think this product missed the boat on this one. I also wish products for our dogs wouldn't use maltodextrin, like this one has. There really is no need for this in products (for humans or dogs) and can actually be problematic for dogs with sensitive stomachs, which seems a bit counterintuitive for a product that is supposed to help their stomachs??
