Even though my cats did not like this it is pure shredded chicken breasts in broth it looks like it is human grade!!!! My cats did not like this but my dogs just

Even though my cats did not like this it is pure shredded chicken breasts in broth it looks like it is human grade!!!! My cats did not like this but my dogs just loved it!!!! It would be great as topper for pregnant cats or nursing cats it's pure protein and could be more nutritious for cats who could use the extra protein for this time in their lives

I purchased this to add variety to my 3 kitties' diets, and all 3 of them LOVE it. While it is not a complete food (meaning that is does not contain all nutrients a cat needs in a meal), it is a delightful treat to add texture and flavor for my spoiled babies. Bonus! Because it is mostly just chicken and broth, it is great to have on hand when my 16 yr old kitty has an upset tummy. This is much more convenient than cooking chicken separately for her and she loves it! I have had to give it to her a couple times for this reason.

My cat was a fan of this brand's food and I loved the limited ingredients used. Unfortunately, they've decided to increase their profits by lowering the amount of protein in each can. On the right is what "in broth" used to be. The one on the left is their new version. This was not a one-off defect. I opened multiple cans hoping it was not their new standard, and was dissapointed to find out it is. Keep in mind too that if you decide to buy this water and chicken food, you might also need to open another can (more revenue for them) since there's less meat included.

So much for my trying to find juicy (he loves licking the liquid part of his wet food) food that he would eat ALL of! "Back to the drawing board..."!
