                    What happens when it rains outside? Should it be under something covered or its ok to just place on the ground uncovered?

                    The Rescue! Pop! Fly Trap is designed for outdoor use and does not need to be covered. It can either be hung or placed on the ground.

                    To dispose of the dead flies and liquid do you pour it outside? Is it safe?

                    To empty, close the top cap allowing the flies to drown before reopening. Then pour out the flies into the trash, and reuse the bottle, refilling with a new packet and water.

                    Very Effective fly control

                    Extremely effective, especially when put out very early Spring before signs of fly activity. We pick poo daily and pile it in a shady area which helps keep fly population

                    Extremely effective, especially when put out very early Spring before signs of fly activity. We pick poo daily and pile it in a shady area which helps keep fly population down, but a new neighbor with horses doesn't, and so we had really horrible biting flys the past two years. I decided to buy these and I have one about 15' from my chicken coop, hanging on a tree branch, and one about 30' from my horses shelter in the middle of their paddock also hanging on a tree branch. They have caught a ton of flys, and I don't smell the rotten egg smell since they are in the open air outside and away from heavily trafficked areas. I put them out in March, and am just now getting the refill packets (June). I do wish maybe there was a glass version with metal lid, instead of plastic, for sustainability and also because the plastic container feels a little flimsy, but I'm hoping to reuse it for as many seasons as possible.

                    We get flies near our chicken and duck coop/run and this thing works like a charm. Yes, it stinks; it's filled with re-hydrated rotten egg, but that's why it works

                    We get flies near our chicken and duck coop/run and this thing works like a charm. Yes, it stinks; it's filled with re-hydrated rotten egg, but that's why it works so well. We have used the sticky traps in the past, but you have to keep replacing them every couple days, which gets expensive, plus you have to take steps to keep birds, butterflies, and bees, etc away from it. I feel like this is the best option for large amounts of flies in an outdoor area, as in a "farm" setting. I would never recommend putting it in your house or near common areas, but if you can put it in a back corner, it's a great option.
