I switched to Nutrish. My dog ate a bag, then I got my second bag and it looked different and smelled weird. I didn't see any recalls or issues reported so I continued and my dog ate half the bag. I opened the second half of the bag and it smelled even worse so I contacted Chewy. I got my third bag and it seems "okaaay". Now I'm nervous about the quality of the food, brand, and the flaky look to it. The second bag had bigger kibble, more of a red tint, and was smelly. The food in the scoop in my picture is the third bag and the food in the bin is the questionable second bag. The difference is grander in person. I'll be switching to something else. I haven't heard the greatest things about the food.

My dog Rocky is soo healthy, big, and has the shiniest fur (pitbull) he was on hills science diet for puppy food(worked great) then made the switch to taste of the wild when he became 1. Hes been on it for 2 years now!! Recently with the virus I am unemployed and I don’t get any money, so I had to cut my budget till I’m able to find daycare and work again. So I now made the switch to this food! Rocky started to get tired of the same old food everyday, he would wait till late at night to eat his bowl. When the package came I immediately mixed it in his container with his old food , and when I filled his bowl up he ate it all. I mixed it with some of his old food and I even seen he picked some of his old food out and left it in the bowl lol. So he LOvES this new food so far. Maybe I need to start making a change every once in awhile so he doesn’t get so bored. But so far so good. I hope I don’t end up with ants or any moldy packages that I’ve seen in some of the other posts. But I’ve been buying off chewy since my dog was 8 weeks old.. so almost 3 years now.. and I’ve never had a problem with them. The food comes the next day to my door, they are so kind I had a problem with a collar I had bought and they refunded my money because I wasn’t satisfied. So even tho I had to buy a cheaper brand,(Only by 7 dollars lol) I still trust it because it comes from chewy! Every penny right now counts! But anyways so far this food is great!

I lost my precious Waldo puppy last September. I was so hurt that I swore no more dog's, because losing them hurts so bad. Well a month-and-a-half later I rescued a baby Australian Shepherd mix. I wanted to give her the very best of everything from the beginning. A breeder that I know recommended chewy to me, I got online and started looking and really liked what I saw. So I started out my new puppy with Nutrish because she has a sensitive stomach and that seemed to be the best fit for her. Since then I have ordered Rachael Ray's Nutrish treats more food shampoos collars and harnesses. Needless to say I very much like to chewy. The money I saved ordering through chewy versus going to the store to buy her food is incredible. I didn't want to risk going to a store locally to buy her food and not being able to find it which is exactly what happened to me. So the only way to ensure that my puppy has the best is to stay with Chewy. They are very polite very helpful very courteous I really really enjoy their customer service. They have worked with me on a few items that didn't fit or wasn't exactly what I was looking for and were very pleasant about it. I honestly just can't say enough about chewy and I would highly highly recommend it to anyone.

While I understand large bags of dog food are heavy, if you’re not going to package them for shipping correctly, why do you bother offering them for shipping? My box was completely open because there was only one single piece of tape across the top of the box. The contents were nearly dumped into my porch because the box wasn’t taped up enough to handle the load.

I have been battling allergies with my doberman. Around 1-2 yrs old her coat became dry, flaky, and she would have flare-ups of bumps all over. The vet didn’t get it and tried suggesting kangaroo meat food (really expensive) We tried 4 different dogs foods (plus raw which is great but again so expensive). finally we tried Rachael Rays, and omg! by the time we transitioned her, her coat was soft, black, and actually shiny without those little bumps all over. To top it off she actually jumps around like a frog (no joke) when it’s time to eat. She LOVES this dog food. My shepherd does too so i felt bad and eventually started giving him 1/2 Fromm Duck/sweet potato and 1/2 Rachael Rays. I’ve never seen dogs so excited to eat... jumping around all four paws in the air it’s so funny to watch. Needless to say I’m happy Freyja (my doberman) is allergy and bump free. And Bear is just happy with the taste. We still will do raw 2 days a week. This routine has been the best for our furry family.

My dog hadn't been eating very much if at all the past couple of months, we would leave her food out and she just would not touch it until she became starving. For her weight she only ended up eating less than half of what she should have been. We tried everything we could to get her to eat the food including mixing in other things to try and flavor it a little bit but even that stopped working. So we decided to switch her food and this was our saving grace. Shes eating again!!! From the time I pulled the bag out she was genuinely excited about the crinkle of the bag and just about took me out when I set her a bowl out! The bowl has been out for about twenty minutes and I can already see the bottom! I am so so so happy with my purchase and so is Athena. Maybe I should have waited to write a review to see how it sits on her stomach but I am just so thrilled to see her eating

So, we are kinda picky. We prefer mom’s home cooked meals to dry dog food because well, mom is a bomb cook but she says it’s not good for us to eat just her cooking. So we get it as a treat now and again. As for our main meal, she gives us this and we pretend we don’t like it and walk away....then when she leaves for work and we look out the window and she’s gone....we eat it ALL UP. It’s not bad, it’s filling and when we do leave a little left overs in our bowls (I mean, after all, we are ladies), when she gets home she may add a little wet food in it so we will finish it and well yeah we gobble that RIGHT UP. When we don’t have any left overs, when she gets home, we get a treat for being good girls and not destroying the house. Either way, Win Win. I recommend this food with 2 paws up!

This is better than a lot of other brands of dry food... Bu the 2nd ingredient is still chicken MEAL, followed by soybean MEAL... But, even though this is a little more costly, this is a better quality dry dog food than the other much cheaper brands. If you are willing to spend almost twice the money, then "CALL OF THE WILD" is a much, much better dry food (perhaps the best?). Finally, for a little more money than "Call of the Wild," in my opinion the overall healthiest dog food is an ALL RAW FOOD diet -- but this requires educating yourself, research, a shift in your paradigm, and a little more (but not much) work on your part. I have my dogs on an all RAW food diet, and I purchased the Racheal Ray as a gift to someone who does not have a lot of money, and who is fostering a very old dog, whose owner died.

I've tried from Kirkland to Call of the Wild and most everything in between with varying degrees of success. To find a food that is both good for both of my dogs and something they each enjoy is the trick, two female pitbulls 15 and 7 years old each with different needs and appetite. Well, I was looking for (quite frankly) the most quality for my $ without having to scrimp on either size or ingredients. Not only do my dogs love the taste of Nutrish, but their coats are a healthy reflection of the change in food Glad I made the choice....might switch or add flavors, but plan on sticking with Rachel

My 4 month old Black Lab puppy loves loves loves this food! He has had a couple different brands, and I wanted to feed him a high product food. This one fit the budget and he can't get enough of it. I know black labs tend to just be eaters in general, however he practically tackles me to get to this food. He was on a different product before, which I loved because of the ingredients and he seemed to love too, however it was not budget friendly. Still I would have kept buying it because I want the best for him, but then I stumbled across this Rachel Ray dog food and he goes crazy over this food! I will continue to buy and I definitely recommend this product!!!
