Only thing my IBS baby can eat

I have 3 rescue cats. My boy & the little girl are the same age, & I have my big girl who is a year older. When I first took in my boy he was about 8-10 weeks old

I have 3 rescue cats. My boy & the little girl are the same age, & I have my big girl who is a year older. When I first took in my boy he was about 8-10 weeks old & had diahrrea so bad nonstop I looked into it & tried everything, adding fiber to his food to add bulk, finally the vet gave him some medicine that worked until it ran out then right back to diahrrea. I had to do something so I changed their food to the chicken nutrish since it has no ground corn, wheat, soy or fillers when I found out that grain based foods cause flare ups in cats with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I did not know if this was yet his case but I had tried everything else since I had never had a cat with special dietary needs. Once I made the switch, everything was A-OK! Nice normal poops & he was no longer suffering with a painful red inflamed hiney from profuse diahrrea. 2 years later my little boy Symba is now grown up into a big ol huge cuddle monster. My other 2 girls made the switchover to nutrish food just fine so they are all eating healthy. I just found the salmon flavor a few months ago & alternate between these two, as the little town I live in I could only find the chicken & didn't even know of another flavor. Now I order them from here since my mom told me about chewy.com. Buyers beware, because the Nutrish with the chicken & brown rice & the salmon & brown rice are the only nutrish catfood without the ground corn, wheat & soy fillers. The other 2 on the market under the nutrish line (the indoor formula & longevity formula) DO contain such fillers! So if your cat has dietary sensitivities, stick with the chicken & brown rice & salmon & brown rice. My cats also love the rachael ray wet catfood which is grain free! I give my cats a small portion of wet food first thing in the morning, & when Symba had his allergy going on, I stopped giving them all wet food as I could not find one suitable for such sensitivities in local stores. Now before, my older cat would only eat the pate kind & anytime I gave her one with chunks, she would lick all the juice & leave the chunks. When I stopped giving them all wet food because it wasn't fair to give it to the girls & not Symba due to his IBS, I guess enough time passed for my older girl Sunny to suppress her distaste for chunky wet foods. Because when I found rachael rays grain free wet food, which all comes in a chunky consistency in gravy, they all gobble it right up. I split one cup between the 3 of them & it's the perfect portion for a morning treat. I monitored Symba for any sensitivity to the wet food & he had none! Loving these catfoods as are my babies & never getting anything else. As long as rachel ray keeps making these foods, I will continue to purchase!

I chose this for our outdoor cat and strays and they absolutely love it. You can smell the salmon oils as soon as you open the bag, which was the main reason in purchasing. Lol all the cats that eat from us have nice and shiny coats. I also like that the pieces are small so the cats that don’t chew are less likely to choke

Finicky elder cat loved it right from get-go

Tried another brand because of health issues with older cat and tummy problems with two others. They tried to bury it. However, Rachael's food was a tremendous success the first time in the dish. Older cat who is really picky ate her dish and one of the other cats. It's nice and small so she can easily eat it. Other two cats love it also. No tummy problems (throwing up) since this food has no added red dyes like some others. Don't know if it is the food, but even the litter doesn't seem to smell as much either. SO glad I found this on Chewy. And Rach gives back proceeds to shelters. Win-win!

No more constipation

I was using Rachel Ray's chicken & salmon for quite a while. Fluffy started developing pretty bad constipation. Pumpkin helped then it declined again. I am trying to get away from animal products (I'm veg 35 years) and switched to all salmon. I was concerned about the rice making things worse but over this last month she now has very healthy, moist stool. It's better than the occasional pumpkin addition as they were always dark and dry, but she was able to go. I highly recommend this product. Both my very different cats love it more than the chicken & salmon As I gradually switched, they left the chicken flavor behind in the dish often. So much for gradually haha. They were totally mixed together.

Whatever this is it’s unacceptable

This is a regularly purchased item but this time we got something a little different. If this is a change in the recipe I wish we’d been warned. Not only does

This is a regularly purchased item but this time we got something a little different. If this is a change in the recipe I wish we’d been warned. Not only does it smell off but our foodiest cat rejects it. Throwing it out , to be safe. If the next bag is like this, will return and change brands.

My kitties love Nutrish dry food

My kitties LOVE Nutrish - they have 2 different versions/flavors available at all times - then get wet food once/day. None of my kitties are overweight - I believe

My kitties LOVE Nutrish - they have 2 different versions/flavors available at all times - then get wet food once/day. None of my kitties are overweight - I believe the quality of the food fills them up without the need to overeat. My kitties have been eating various versions of Nutrish for at least 5 years - ever since I received a bag lovingly from a Pet Foodbank when finances were tight. Nutrish donates lots of food to Rescues/Shelters - LOVE THAT.

The pellets are disk shaped and quite small, and they smell heavy of fish. This cat food is one of my Cat's favorite foods. She enjoys fish type of cat foods, and she has been in love with the taste of this one especially. Picture included with coins for size references of the cat food for both top and side view. I flipped one of the pellets to its side in the middle.

The New Bag Not Eco-correct

Tuffy loves this food. It's healthy ingredients keep her well and weight down. I don't love the new bag. Prefer the previous paper bag that I could recycle.

Not happy with this brand anymore..

I been a Religious loyal customer for Rachel Ray since my cat was born and he is currently FIVE. So for FIVE years I Religiously ordered Rachel Rays dried cat food and I never had any issues and my cats didn't either. The prices started to get a bit ridiculous but it's okay for the most part. Few years after Price went from $18 to $20, $20 to $24 And One thing I noticed when purchasing again 4 days ago (Wed 11th 2024) and I opened up the bag and noticed the pebbles were smaller than usual. The following picture the small pebble is what I recently purchased and the larger are the same exact brand and food type. The second one is the slightly bigger pebble ordered back in September of this year. The bring up the prices but make the food smaller.
