Instructions

Convenient Parasite Treatment

The Quest line offers convenient parasite treatment. Just one dose of Quest Gel (moxidectin) or Quest Plus Gel (moxidectin/praziquantel) treats and controls small strongyles (including encysted forms), large strongyles, bots, pinworms, hairworms, and stomach worms. Quest Plus Gel includes a second ingredient to treat and control tapeworms.

Long-Lasting Parasite Suppression

Twice-a-year treatment for long-lasting parasite suppression with Quest and Quest Plus. Just one dose of Quest in the spring and one dose of Quest Plus in the fall may be the only parasite treatment needed all year long for most horses. The Quest line of products is the only option demonstrated effective against encysted small strongyles and is safe for breeding mares, stallions, and horses six months of age or older.

Why Choose Quest and Quest Plus?

Trust Quest's 25+ year legacy for safe, effective parasite control.

  • The gel formula dissolves quickly on the tongue.
  • The Quest series come in a SURE-DIAL syringe for easy and accurate dosing.
  • In a study, one dose of Quest was nearly twice as effective in reducing small strongyle egg counts as a five-dose treatment of fenbendazole. [1]

I’ve always loved quest plus to worm my horses and most of my dogs great product. This was the first time I Ordered it through chewy but this time they beat everyone’s prices and I’m always looking before I order to see who has the best deal. I have to order at least 10-12 at a time minimum so saving money is important.

Quest plus has 2 classes of wormers. Moxidectin which controls all the common parasites and even encysted strongyles which are notoriously hard to kill due to their burrowing nature and Praziquantel which treats tapeworms. Studies show its best to use this one during the winter for best parasite control. Doesn’t taste great but the results on a fecal egg count don’t lie. It works very well. I also love that one tube treats up to 1500 lbs. Having a bigger horse forced me to buy 2 tubes of other products for his extra weight and that was such a pain. Vet recommend and a staple for our horses.

I've been using this for years and I've never had a problem with it. I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about when they say it killed their horse. My 19-year-old mare, who I've owned for almost ten years, gets this at least a few times a year, as I alternate it with Ivermectin and Strongid to try and cover all the parasites I can. My horse hates the taste, but, as someone who is an experienced horse owner who regularly deworms their horse and works at a vet clinic, it's not hard to dose your animal. Shove it in their mouth as far back as you can. Don't feed it like a treat. They're not going to like it, so it's your job to shove it in as far back as possible. Halter them, hold them, and move fast. I definitely recommend Quest Plus and Quest.

The delivery time for my item was said to be one to three days. It took four days. I had to buy the item elsewherel locally, as I was heading on vacation on that fourth day. The two small items arrived in a an oversized box. Not environmentally, friendly! This is my first time ordering from chewy and probably will not order again.

It’s one of the few deworming tubes that can accommodate a 1500 pound horse! You don’t have to buy 2 tubes to treat one horse!
