My dog is over 10 years old and a Beagle/Jack Russell mixed breed. She weighs around 32 pounds and isn’t as active as she used to be. I noticed her slow in getting
My dog is over 10 years old and a Beagle/Jack Russell mixed breed. She weighs around 32 pounds and isn’t as active as she used to be. I noticed her slow in getting up and limping at times, so I discussed with my vet ways to address this. It was suggested that we try a supplement (possibly with Glucosamine) for joint health. As we have her on the Purina Pro Plan wet dog food, we decided to try Pro Plan Joint Care as well. She really liked the taste. It took a couple days, but then she slowly started to show improvement getting up & going up stairs. This isn’t some immediate miracle cure. It is however a product that has helped. It is not as expensive as some of the other options on the market, and I haven’t seen any negative effects. I’m sure that it is somehow lubricating her joints and allowing her to move about in a more pain free way, and that is a huge WIN!! I will continue to use this and hopefully continue to see her move around like her younger self. What more could you ask for?

We received the Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Hip & Joint Soft Chews for Small Dogs product for free in exchange for a review. This is my honest opinion of the product after giving them to my 5 year old male Maltese and 4 year old female Maltese for a few weeks. Both of my pups were instantly attracted to the smell which was a good sign as they can be picky with new treats and/or supplements. I really like that they are soft chews as my pups are used to taking soft chew supplements and think they are treats so take them easily and without a hassle. The 4 year old female Maltese has luxating patella so it's important for us to have her on Joint Supplements- we feed them Purina Pro Plan kibble so took interest in their Joint Supplements. She has been more mobile/active recently and seems content which makes us happy. We will definitely purchase this in the future!

These treats have been a complete life saver! My chihuahua jumped and fell off the couch a few years ago. After that he was limping. He had an xray and it was found that he tore his ACL. Surgery was so expensive. The vet told me to accommodate him any way possible, making him use his leg less ( like stairs). He was limping for a while. I came across these treats and after a full month of one bag, he stopped limping. It’s been years and he no longer limps! Sometimes he will go wild running around the yard and start limping again from overuse, but after a few days of these treats, he’s back to normal. These treats have been amazing for him!! I recommend them to everyone!

We have a 16 year old Bischon Frise, named Snowflake. He’s young when he needs to be, but we’ve noticed a decline in his ability to quickly and easily jump to and from the couch/bed. Since starting him on this Purina joint supplement, we’ve noticed improvement. It seems he hesitates a lot less and moves a lot quicker to jump up, which is impressive. The treats are small, and firm- so if you have an older dog that has mouth issues, this might not be the best option. Our dog does not have that issue, he’ll eat anything! The bag is easy and quick to access. The taste must be pleasant for him because he sure does get excited when I take the bag out. So far, we’re liking the product, and he is, too. The product is inexpensive for what it advertises, which is also a plus. Looking forward to see his progress with continued use. We all hate to see our fur-babies getting older, so whatever we can do to help them in the process is worth it.

This product has proven to be highly effective in improving the mobility and overall health of our senior pets. Our 13-year-old Pitbull and our mother's 18-year-old Pekingese were experiencing significant joint problems, with the Pekingese even dragging its hind legs at times. After incorporating this supplement into their diets, we have observed a remarkable improvement in their mobility and overall well-being. The Pekingese is now able to walk and exercise without any signs of discomfort. While our Pitbull initially resisted consuming the supplement on its own, we found that crumbling it into his Beneful Incredibites canned food ensured that he would ingest it without hesitation. It is important to note that this supplement should be administered in accordance with the recommended dosage guidelines, as excessive consumption may have adverse effects. Our Pitbull, who suffered from hip and front leg damage prior to our fostering and rescuing him, has shown significant improvement in his mobility and overall health. We highly recommend this supplement for maintaining the joint health and overall well-being of your beloved pets. I cant go back and correct but the pitbull loves them and he would take as a treat anytime. It was the pekingnese I have to crumble into his wet food. He is old and can't chew them well with his old teeth even though soft he is fickle finicky so crumble in the food and mixed it in. Problem solved

I have an almost 10 year old small dog. He used to be so hyper and jumping all over the place. But now he's my little old man and he's slowing down, but I still want him to feel strong and good. I feel like these really helped him! He used to wait for me to pick him up to get on the bed, but now sometimes he just runs and jumps for it! You can tell he's feeling good. And he seemed to really like the flavor, not like other brands I used to give him. I was very impressed by what I saw and will continue to give him these Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Supplements Joint Care treats.

While he has just completed his third week of supplements, I have begun to see a slight increase in his "friskiness". I have to stop and think that this is not a middle-aged dog, but a senior dog whose age (at guess, as he was a stray) is between 11-13 years. The other day he shimmied five feet up a tree after a squirrel; a feat I had not see him do in quite a long time. As a pet owner, I want my pet to have the best quality of life at any stage of their life. I feel confident that this product is doing and will continue to do this for Max. It supports mobility and routine daily activities. Additionally, the supplements help to maintain healthy cartilage and joints. More important to me as a pet parent, I want to see Max "age gracefully". I am particularly aware that I know nothing about his health history. This joint supplement supports a normal inflammatory response which means that there is less inflammation, pain, and stiffness. Max is going to continue with this regiment. It's easy for me - daily! I believe that Max has many more years of life in him. And, I am confident and determined that those years will be in good health.
