Purina Pro Plan Savor Adult Grain-Free Classic Chicken & Carrots Entree Canned Dog Food, 13-oz, case of 12

I rescued an 11 yr old cocker spaniel with several serious health issues. A fistula from her canine tooth into her nasal canal could have been a big cause of her emaciated condition. She needed moist food due to pain of eating and was drinking little water as this, too, was travelling to her nose . I have fed Purina Pro Plan to my dogs for many years, including dogs I showed and bred, all with good health and coats, no food allergies. Thus I chose this for Honey in canned form. Her stools were loose, maybe partly due to antibiotics even tho I did give probiotics, so tried grain free variety and her stools immediately became firm. With no history of her feeding before she became mine, and with her eating this food eagerly and gaining weight, I have kept her on it for now three months She has regained her proper weight, has a shiny coat, is doing well with all health conditions now healed/corrected. I may begin to switch to kibble, and it will be Pro Plan, as well. I find this to be a good quality food without it costing more than my own. I know there are so many choices now, but this food i have found to maintain healthy dogs living to old ages.
