A few months ago I began looking for a cat food for my senior cats (11 y.o. and 10 y.o.). They will ONLY eat pate’ so I was a bit limited in my choices. I took a chance on this cat food and they both like it. My male cat is super, super finicky and usually wouldn’t eat cat food; instead thinking he could subsist on treats. Now he usually eats his entire portion which makes me so happy. I think I’ve noticed a difference in their behavior as well. Maybe it is wishful thinking, but they both seem more playful and wrestle with each other and zoom through the house more often. I also started feeding this to the community cat I look after and he is in love! When I go outside to feed him, he gets so excited I can’t even get near his bowl. As soon as I am putting the food in his bowl he is gobbling it up. It makes me happy that he is getting exceptional nutrition, even if it is on the pricier side. Now this community cat waits by my door and meows loudly if I’m a few minutes late with his dinner.

I am so happy to be back with Chewy, and very happy to see they have my prefered cat food. I am trying out the autoship program. One reason I am trying out the autoship is my cat must eat every day, and I hate when I need her food and "Whom Ever" I was using, would be out of stock on her food. This cat food is wonderful. My cat is not throwing up, does not look bloated, and is maintaing a healthy weight. I am so happy to see Chewy carrying her brand of healthy cat food. I love Chewy, they are always so nice on the phone. And very prompt with orders, and their prices are not outrageous. My Gracie Allen is my heart. She deserves a healthy diet. And she must eat every day, not when "Whom Ever" decides to finally get it in stock.

I have tried every food under the sun to help my cat. He was a kitten of a feral cat under a coworker’s house. They trapped him. He was so young. Not much I could do to change that so I took him in. He was full of tape & round worms, fleas, yeast ears, just bad shape. I got him in good health, but he had a sensitive stomach since then. The only thing he didn’t throw up was kitten milk replacement/formula. He looks to be like a flame point Siamese if it makes a difference. I assumed it was from lack of proper weaning & any possible intestinal damage caused from the different types of worms, but it was tough to see him always sick & hard on our carpet. His vomiting was projectile & happened in 3s. Almost every day it seemed. At best, once a week. After vet visits with no answers & years of wet & dry foods, fancy, cheap, limited ingredient, grain free, not grain free, pumpkin, chicken, rabbit, duck, beef, salmon, tuna, I bought a 24-count of this pro plan prime plus in chicken, just further going down the list of new foods to try for him. Even switching to this, he didn’t get sick...?? After 2 days - I was pretty impressed, 5 days - shocked. He has now gone thru 22 cans & I’m certain pigs are flying somewhere. I’m beyond relieved & grateful. I’m wondering now if my other kitties could have lived longer. He had started going down the same path as they have in other signs & I was nervous. I am in absolute disbelief & incredibly grateful to have found this. Hopefully this may help others with a similar situation.

I have a 7-year-old spayed female cat who has always struggled with weight issues and has been on PPP weight management food (wet and dry) for the last couple years. We finally got her to a good weight, but the PPP WM wet food has been out of stock of late, so I figured I would give this a shot. She loves this food. It has a few more calories, but seems to keep her full longer. She doesn't gobble her kibble down as quickly, so I've been able to feed her a bit less. She hasn't gained any weight on this and seems pretty pleased, so we're sticking with it.

It also stabilizes their "litter box" results. Chewy has been the most reliable in keeping the Pro Plan in stock and we are amazed at how well Chewy packages our shipments.
Product Now Watered Down
I have fed my two cats this product for almost two years and they loved it. I say Loved because the consistency has been watered down. Before when a can was opened

Before when a can was opened it could be cut in two and the product was like a thick gelatin. Now it is like oatmeal and it is obvious that price gouging is not only happening to human food, but pet food. They now refuse to eat the same product they loved for years. Thanks for nothing! Only if you have never purchased this product before would you spot the difference. Those regular consumers will and the cats are turning a paws down to this profiteering! Shame on ProPlan.

Our nearly 15 year old kitty has always been very finicky about her food. The texture is just as important as the flavor— she is one of the few cats who won’t touch anything with salmon. Over the years I’ve found only a few wet foods she really likes and will consistently eat and the Purina Pro Plan Senior Prime 7+ Chicken can food is one of her favorites! She also likes the Turkey and Giblets and Chicken and Beef Senior 7+ Too! Especially at her age, eating wet food is very important for proper hydration so she gets at least 2 cans a day (in 4 different servings) along with Purina Senior dry food. Yes, I am her adoring servant. :)
