does this help with weight control?

This food is to help cats skin issues like dander ? I saw a comment by a person that said helps humans due to dander allergies. That makes no sense. I buy Cat food for my Cats. Not for me. So would you clarify please. Thank you. I want my cat comfortable.

This Really Works!

My daughter is allergic to cats, but we have two. She always just adapted by not getting too close to them and this seemed to work while she was growing up. That is until she went off to college and came home for the first time; just being in the house made her eyes red and runny. Obviously this wasn’t going to work, so I told myself we’d try this food and if it didn’t help, we’ll have to rehome our cats. She’s been back to visit a few times now since we started feeding our cats this food and she’s been okay! It has made an undeniable difference. She has even brought her boyfriend home to stay with us, who also is allergic to cats, and he’s been okay too. We’re true fans! The price of this food is a bit shocking though, so I’m hoping this anti-allergen formula will catch on and capitalism will do its job, introducing other competitors to drive down prices. Fingers crossed.

My allergies are almost non existent!!

I was worried at first bc of reviews about the cats coats. He has very long hair which is something I love about Oreo. We did have a patch problem but ironically he was on a new medicine for something else at the time so I stuck with it. He’s an outdoor cat and we were gone for about 3 weeks. When we came back he had some matting around his chest but once I brushed that off of him he hasn’t had any matting since. He had his yearly checkup recently and is very healthy still, being on the food now for 2 months. I am able to hold him and be around him without suffering. I’ve never been able to have a cat bc of my allergies. He adopted us about 1.5 years ago and I’ve been in love. It makes me so happy that I can spend more time with him. I am still careful to wash my hands and get excess hair off of me when I come into the house. He’s even been in the house some when he is curious. He is also my office cat during the day when I’m working from home. I’m very thankful for this food!!!

Amazing! 3 cats at home & tested long-term with 3 adults allergy sufferers

We have 3 cats, 2 are pictured. All 3 enjoy this food and although none of our household have cat allergies, some of our dearest extended stay guests and family

We have 3 cats, 2 are pictured. All 3 enjoy this food and although none of our household have cat allergies, some of our dearest extended stay guests and family members do. When I saw Live Clear, I thought I would give it a try. Our first test came when we happened to hire twin brothers to do renovation work all summer long at our home. They normally experience headaches, itchy watery eyes, itchy skin, sneezing, etc within a very short time of starting a job inside any property with a cat. Both of them had zero trouble inside mine despite working inside full time all summer! One of my cats likes to supervise all diy efforts and spent most of every day next to the guys while they worked. Initially, I tried to shoo him away but they said they were enjoying this chance to pet a cat, etc. without any allergic reaction. They were so impressed one sent a pic of the cat food bag to their sister who has always wanted a cat but couldn’t because of her allergies. Most recently, my sister-in-law stayed with us for a week. She said that she would bring loads of allergy meds and spend time outdoors or on my porch. We even set up a table out there to eat because her cat allergies are always so bothersome. But once again, she was totally fine. By the end of that week she was actually considering getting a cat herself! In her case, she never stopped taking the over the counter pills that she brought. However, her experience with Live Clear is still significant because in the past at our home those were never ever even close to being enough. She would stay for a holiday meal but not be able to hang out for much more than the meal itself before getting a headache and feeling so miserable. Give this a try. All of our allergy sufferers have been so impressed!

The throwing up problem solved

Couldn’t find my other review, so consider this an update. My two cats have always thrown up Purina kibble several times a week, but never any pate foods. Liveclear is different! Literally every feeding was a throw up cleanup for one of them. Then I had an idea! I decided to use our little Ninja blender to pulverize it into a powder and add water to turn it into a pate. Success! They still eat it and no more throwing up after eating. I suggest others having a throw up problem try the same thing. Only giving 3 stars because I shouldn’t have to put in so much effort and Purina should offer Liveclear in a wet pate form. I’d buy it in a heartbeat if they did.

I have not usually considered Pro Plan to be a premium pet food, but this product is a winner for me and the Princess. "Probiotic" caught my attention. It held my attention that Karma loves this food. I use food as a treat as I know it is healthier, and she will chase just as hard for these kibbles as her prior favorites. The kibble is small, which is helpful for her as she has only her four fangs. A high protein food is a great choice for cats. I will definitely buy this again.

Noticeable change in husbands reaction to our cat

My husbands allergist recommended this food and an air purifier. Maybe it’s a combination of both that food and the purifier, but there is a noticeable difference in my husbands allergy reaction to our cat. She has been on this food for 8 months now and we noticed a difference around the 3 month mark of feeding it. Only thing of concern, this is NOT a weight balance food for the cats. Our girl gained a significant amount of weight and we had to consult with our vet about how much to feed her. Which is only 1/3 C per day.

My cats used to let their food pile up from their automatic feeder. Now they can’t get enough! They love this food. I got it when there was a huge sale (50% off) and I’m glad I grabbed two bags to last us a while. My only drawback is the price we’ll now have to pay when we run out.. it is very expensive but our babies love it and I do believe it is helping with my allergies. The things we do for these little stinkers lol

More Kitty Cuddles , Less Sneezing!

I was more than excited to try Purina Pro Plan LiveClear Salmon & Rice in the16lb size. My cats do eat Pro Plan already so the transition over to the new formula

I was more than excited to try Purina Pro Plan LiveClear Salmon & Rice in the16lb size. My cats do eat Pro Plan already so the transition over to the new formula was super easy. usually they eat the Chicken based formulas I chose the Salmon formula to try something new. I was surprised that there is no fishy smell to it at all nor is it greasy. It has a nice enticing savory scent to it and it had my cats meowing and circling the second I opened the bag. The pieces are small flat and bite sized, easy for the cats to eat. Eskimo and Shy Shy who is very picky, really love this new formula and adjusted to it quickly. No tummy upset and no bathroom issues either. They have now been eating it for over 3 weeks. I have noticed that my eyes and nose have stopped being so itchy and runny, I am sneezing less when I pick them up which means more cuddle time for the both of them. This formula really has made a difference in my allery reaction when I hold my cats or brush them. I have also noticed that their coats are more shiny and healthy looking on this formula as well. I will definitely be buying LiveClear Salmon & Rice from now on as in just 3 weeks the lessening of my dander allergies has been wonderful, more noticeable when I cuddle with my long hair kitty Shy Shy which I always had the most reaction to. . I do highly recommend this product for anyone suffering from dander allergies with their cats.

A Game Changer

We have several family members who are allergic to cats, and have avoided having any cats for more than 15 years. While away at college, my daughter adopted a beautiful girl from the Atlanta trial foster program. Knowing she was coming home for holidays, our daughter started giving LiveClear to her girl. Her sweet kittie grew on every family member and when our daughter came home for the summer, no one blinked an eye. None of the previous sniffles or watery eyes. Of course, we took standard precautions, but even with the cat exploring the house and common areas, it wasn't bad at all. We added a second rescue cat in October - who sleeps in our room, and on my pillow during the day (both my husband and I are allergic to most cats). Two years ago, I would not have even entertained the idea of getting a cat; but, after success with our daughter's sweet little girl, here we are, almost a year in, with our very own kitty.
