I am highly allergic to cats always have been. But I couldn’t say no when to my children when we found an abandoned kitten. I knew we couldn’t keep her, but we took her to the vet waiting for someone toadopt her. My vet veterinarian told me to try this food. Not only did we buy this food but we also bought the dry shampoo used it right away. After six weeks, I was no longer allergic to my cat and we decided to give her a forever home with us. I never would’ve believed the food and the dry shampoo in conjunction with the food would keep me from having allergy attacks from our beautiful cat. She is now two years old and we have absolutely no problems whatsoever. I completely 100% would recommend this product to anyone with cat allergies it is truly a game changer.

I was very hesitant as my entire family is allergic to cats! We found a feral kitten on our farm and had planned to keep her in the barn but after she got comfortable

I was very hesitant as my entire family is allergic to cats! We found a feral kitten on our farm and had planned to keep her in the barn but after she got comfortable she had other plans. We are allergic like eyes swell, nasal spray , Zyrtec and will still be sneezing just not swollen. I won’t tell you that I am allergy med free but I am down to once a day and if I forget I am not dying.

My grandpa passed away and I got to keep his kitten. I knew I had a mild cat allergy but as the kitten got older, my allergies progressively got worse. This kitty means the world to me. I was in denial at first about how bad the allergy was, until I woke up in the middle of the night coughing and wheezing. I was desperate for something to help because there was absolutely no way I was going to re-home her. I tried to wean her off of her other food by mixing it with this new food. She meticulously picked out all of the new food and left the old kibble in her bowl! She obviously loved the taste which made me so happy. It was gentle on her tummy and her litter box looked normal. Thank goodness this food worked. I have been feeding this food to her for about 7 weeks and I am totally fine now. I can hold her, lay with her in bed, and even kiss her without any issues.

I was a little skeptical, but it was time for our family to have a cat. So I needed all the help I could get. I’m allergic to cats, but only mildly thankfully. The first day our kitten came home, I was very allergic and had to use my allergy medicine to prevent me from sneezing so much. We started feeding this food right away. I felt a difference only a few days later. Now, two weeks later, I’m doing OK. I have had two days when allergies are a little bit worse, but overall I’m cohabitating with a cat comfortably. That’s a big deal! Thanks so much!

My husband and kids allergies have always been set off BAD by the cats at family's homes and shelters. Everyone really wanted a cat but we figured it was a pipe dream. Purina came out with this food and I waited about 2 years, reading reviews and the science behind it. I decided to bite the bullet, and we stocked up on this food and got ourselves a little cat. Allergies were kinda triggered but after about 2 weeks of this food and the liveclear shampoo, the family is fine. The cat even sleeps with my daughter. Everyone's dreams have come true and we will always feed Purina to all current and future pets. It's recommended to feed cats more wet food than kibble. We always have a bowl of this out, dry, and we can feed basically any wet food with no allergy problems. If she's begging at her wet dish and we don't have any wet, we'll crush this up in a pestle and mortar and add a little warm water or no sodium chicken broth. She loves it.

This food is a life changing creation! It really reduces allergies and allows me to live with my kitty sneeze-free! It does take about 4-6 weeks to take full effect

It does take about 4-6 weeks to take full effect and I do pair it with an allergy eliminating furniture spray that I spray about 1x every week or so around the house. But, the food is doing most of the work at eliminating any allergens!

I recently adopted two 7 month old kittens and I have a mild cat allergy. As a pharmacy student, I was intrigued by the science behind LiveClear and decided to try it as soon as I adopted my kittens. I'm happy to report that I haven't noticed any overall worsening in my allergy or asthma symptoms, and that's definitely surprising given that I have these two kittens constantly crawling all over me and my bed! I think in the last month, I've had maybe 3 times where I've had a bit of eye itchiness, and I wouldn't be surprised if that decreases over time once the full effect of the food starts (and once my immune system learns to be more tolerant of them too). The kittens absolutely LOVE the taste of the food and I had no issues with stomach upset when I switched them over from their previous diet. Something important to note is that, per the brand, the food has to be free fed throughout the day in order to work. Cat allergies are caused by a protein called Fel d 1 which is present in cat saliva (and then gets spread onto the fur as your cat cleans itself). LiveClear contains egg-derived antibodies (proteins) which bind to the Fel d 1 in your cat's saliva and neutralize it. LiveClear has to be free fed so that there is always some antibodies from the food in your cat's mouth to neutralize the new Fel d 1 that is constantly being produced. If your cat is unable to graze throughout the day or needs to be fed in portioned meals, the anti-allergy effect will not be as pronounced.

This really does work! my dad has cat allergies so severe that he can not spend 10 minutes in a house with a cat before he needs to leave and his face is on fire. He not only can spend time in the house, but he was loving all on the cat, and proceeded to eat a burger without washing his hands (eww gross I know!) but he did this with ZERO reaction! I wanted a cat all my life, and this has finally made it so I don't have to choose between my dad and a cat.

When we decided to adopt a kitten for our family, my main concern was minimizing my 8 yr old's mild allergies to cats. I did not want him to have to take liquid

When we decided to adopt a kitten for our family, my main concern was minimizing my 8 yr old's mild allergies to cats. I did not want him to have to take liquid allergy medicine daily and wanted him to be comfortable. After realizing Purina Pro Plan makes this special food to minimize allergic reaction to humans I was SO excited to try it. I read it can take several weeks to take affect so I remained patient once we started feeding it to our kitten. I am VERY happy with the results! My son barely has any reaction to our cat now. If his eyes start to itch I just have him rinse them with water. I also use lemon, lavender and peppermint essential oils topically ony son which helps with allergic reaction. I may go 3-4 days without any liquid allergy medicine if that. This food has helped my son enjoy our cat so much (pet him, hold him, snuggle with him)! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a cat but afraid of an allergic reaction!!
