I have four cats and recently my husband found out that his asthma was caused by his allergy to cats. Yikes! Obviously, I was not getting rid of the cats (hubby would go first) so I had to find another option. The shelter coordinators where I foster kittens (yes...kittens too) told me about Live Clear. I read the reviews and was impressed and bought some. It is working. Hubby's asthma is gone and so he can stay. The cats even like it. I do have to warn you that if you free feed, like me, then they may gain weight. All of my cats gained two pounds--which is a lot for a cat. So, I had to put them on the weight management formula. Hopefully, this will help.

When I introduced the new Purina Pro Plan Liveclear Weight Management Chicken & Rice Formula to my furry friends, one cat (Carla) was quick to express her desire for the food (even going to her hind legs to beckon for it). The other (Suki) was more reserved in her initial response, however quickly changed her positioning after the first few bites. The instructions encouraged us to introduce the new food slowly, however I found that my little friends were quick to forego such a requirement (though I did offer it mixed for variety). This product promotes reducing allergens from the cat's fur, and as for Carla, since she has been spending more time on the bed, my sinuses haven't been as impacted, so it may carry merit in that area. Plus, when it comes to the weight management, they both appear to be noticeably lighter. Also, the only other changes I can attest to are subjective in that they appear to be more relaxed than before, during most times, and even a little more attentive than normal. IF this is due to the food, that's a side effect I can easily endorse...otherwise having the opportunity to review this food, at a reduced cost for my feedback, I'd say me and the cats sincerely appreciate the offer! #InsidersProPlanLiveClear

I've been feeding this to my orange tabby for about a month now and I'm not sure if it lives up to its name. As far as weight Management goes, my cat loves this food. He loves it so much he's always meowing for more. We've had to lower his intake due to weight gain, and I was hoping this food would help...but he seemed to want even more of this food. I am quite allergic the cat, but I haven't noticed any decrease in my symptoms when he's around. I will note though, that he seems to be shedding less. Generally in the mornings, my office chair is thick with his fur (he like to sleep in my office chair at night), but lately there's only been a slight amount. Could be the weather, but I think it's the ProPlan. So, "Weight Management" and "Allergen Reducing" may not be fully accurate, but my cat loves it, is shedding less, and has been very affectionate, so I'm sticking with it!

Both hubby and myself suffer from mild allergies to pet hair and dander but we unexpectedly ended up with a family member's cat that we couldn't turn away. Our cat Ramona is usually quite picky but she really enjoys this food more than her wet and since we started using it about 5 weeks ago hubby and I have noticed that we aren't sneezing or stuffed up all the time. During the switch from her former dry food to this one Ramona didn't experience any digestive issues, it was a flawless transition. Ramona has also been losing weight since starting on this food which is wonderful since she had been having trouble jumping up onto the bar for her meals, now she jumps right up - partly because she is down 7 pounds and partly because she loves this stuff. I love that I can allow Ramona to sleep with me in bed and snuggle, our relation has changed dramatically because I'm no longer weighed down by allergies. I highly recommend this food, can't say enough great things about it.

I switched about 1.5 months ago, and have not seen him take a single Claritin or complain about his eyes itching, burning, etc. That alone is amazing. My cats love this food. I feed weight management as I free feed, and both maintain a healthy weight. I highly recommend this product to anyone who deals with cat allergies. I was skeptical at first, but it genuinely works!

When I learned of this product, I thought that I really needed to try it. I did purchase this at a reduced price in exchange for my honest review. I am so glad I did. It really works! My eyes are not itchy and I can cuddle with both my kitties without issue. It does take around 3 weeks, but it really does work. Less dander. Soft costs. I'm so happy! This product is amazing! We also have the weight management with ours. We have noticed some weight loss, but not a lot at four weeks. We will continue with this product and hopefully will see some more results. In addition, this cat food really makes their coats soft. Thank you Purina! You had me at less dander!

This food + brushing daily outside + an air purifier + Allerpet Spray? We have no problems at all! All worth it for sweet kitty snuggles.

Finally there is a food that helps control saliva protein to reduce allergens for humans to cats. While I only have a mild allergy, I have recommended this to others who are very pleased with the results. Since my cats tend to over eat, and break the auto feeder to get more, the weight management part has only had a small impact in the last year. All the cats love this food though.

I notice the hair is better Less vomiting after eating My cats are ready to eat when I put the bowls down. They definitely like it! Also I would feed my cats the world if I could afford to but we do what we can with what we have . Best of luck everyone.
