He ate it! He ate it all- the whole can.

And then he ate it the next day and the next. I have had this kitty for 3 months and he has not eaten a whole (little) can of anything. I can barely get him to eat

And then he ate it the next day and the next. I have had this kitty for 3 months and he has not eaten a whole (little) can of anything. I can barely get him to eat a few bites. I even prepare real food for him and he won't eat it. He only eats dry food. The one thing I wish Purina would change - stop adding chicken as a cheap protein filler to everything they make. My vet thinks Ginger may be allergic to chicken and this has chicken in it - so does the Live Clear dry food. The pricy wet cat foods without chicken are so expensive, and he won't eat them. I have not found one that he would he. This Purina Pro Plan Complete Essentials Seafood variety pack - he loves it.

I've been struggling recently to get my cat to eat her normal amount of food without having to provide the flavor enhancements of toppers and Churus. I've tried different flavored foods from the same brand that I always buy, but I was just not having any luck. I stumbled across Purina Pro Plan and ordered the seafood flavors because I know my cat likes tuna, and low and behold, she ate it right away! I thought is was a fluke thinking that she was probably hungry from not having eaten well for a few days, but I gave it to her again in between her regular food brand and she ate it up every time! My only complaint is that that cans are only 3oz cans and my cat would eat 2 cans a day which would make it a bit expensive to maintain her eating habits! But if that's what she wants and will eat every time, I guess I'll have to take out a second mortgage to keep her well fed and happy!

He leaves a fair amount behind though and still tries to eat my kitten's food instead rather frequently, so I don't think he absolutely loves it or anything. At least he eats it though, been struggling to find one he'll eat. A rather picky cat considering he was a feral kitten before. This is pretty costly for the amount of cans you get, though. At 2 cans a day, one box isn't enough to last 2 weeks, so I need to buy 2 boxes a pay period. 2 boxes every 2 weeks is quite costly.

I have 4 senior cats and I rarely ever find a canned food that they all like. With this variety pack 3 cats liked the Tuna and only one would eat the other 2 flavors. They would lick the juice or gravy but not eat the rest which is a problem that I have a lot. It won't go to waste though since I can work my way through this variety pack with more food bowls on the floor trying to please all my picky felines.
