While I'll be feeding this puppy food to my puppies when they're old enough, I'm currently feeding it to their mother. I feed Pro Plan products to get good results, and this food is no exception. My girl was fed Pro Plan Sport 30/20 until she had her puppies 5 days ago. Then I switched her to this puppy food because it's higher in calcium. She has not lost any weight and is producing enough milk to feed a litter 3X bigger. I've raised multiple litters in the past, feeding it to both the mother and the puppies. Pups have all grown up strong and healthy, with no digestive issues. Highly recommend.

My puppy loves it.

My 4 legged rescue family love Purina Pro Plan products. The dry puppy food is no different. I am slowly transitioning my rescue puppy from what she was fed in

I purchased this food for my new puppy that I brought home a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. I slowly transitioned her from the food she was eating at the breeder to this and she had very loose stool/diarrhea. After a week of hoping things would improve, I put her on a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice. Her stools improved, so after a week, I slowly began adding the Purina Pro Plan to the chicken and rice and her diarrhea returned immediately. I had luck with Purina Pro Plan with my previous dog, so that is why I chose this brand. Unfortunately, I need to make a change. I do not know if this is just a bad bag of food or if it just isn't suitable for my pup.

Quality and percentage of healthy ingredients

Easily digestible for my 9 mo. Old cocker puppy. He hasn't reacted with any allergies to the food, plus he is an absolute glutton for it!!! He is thriving on this

How do I stop this!

I thought that I had successfully cancelled my dog's order of puppy food and replaced it with the next step, small dog adult Purina Pro Plan dog food. That food

I thought that I had successfully cancelled my dog's order of puppy food and replaced it with the next step, small dog adult Purina Pro Plan dog food. That food was delivered earlier this week. Then yesterday another huge bag of Purina Pro Plan Puppy food was delivered! I cannot use it, nor do I think that I should have to pay for it. How do I get rid of this huge bag and how do I make sure that I only receive the dog food I tried to order in the future?

Recommended by the breeder that raises Basset Hounds

My new Basset Hound puppy absolutely LOVES this food. Devours it at every meal. She’s healthy and happy, playful, and is growing fast!

Wasted money

Wanted to get the big bag so I wouldn’t run out unexpectedly. Dog got sick after eating it. Diarrhea and vomiting. Ended up throwing the bag in the trash.

Door delivery

It was delivered to our door. Not out in the yard or at the end of our driveway like some deliveries from other places.

Protein

I’ve been feeding my neighbors starving pregnant dog. I talk to my local vet about what I should be feeding her. He recommended Purina Pro Plan & Hills Science Diet

I’ve been feeding my neighbors starving pregnant dog. I talk to my local vet about what I should be feeding her. He recommended Purina Pro Plan & Hills Science Diet both in the puppy formula due to the high protein they contained. I purchased the first which was the Hills Science from the vet. I decided I needed to look around due to the cost & found them both through Chewy. Since I started feeding her the Pro Plan & Hills, she’s had her puppies. I haven’t seen them but she continues to come over to eat. When we first stated feeding her she looked like a Skelton of a dog with a very big belly of pups. Now, she starting to put on weight & is looking better. Thanks Chewy for your reasonable prices.
