Both formulas have added color within the ingredients. Added colors include ingredients such as minerals, spices and caramel that are used to add variety and richness to the appearance of your pet’s food. It does not contain red dyes.

Damaged cans

I got my usual autoship of canned dog food and 6/12 cans were so dented that they are not safe to use. Chewy sent a new shipment ( after the first rep I spoke with

I got my usual autoship of canned dog food and 6/12 cans were so dented that they are not safe to use. Chewy sent a new shipment ( after the first rep I spoke with did not send the replacement order). Open the box and 4 cans have minor dents, 7 are just fine, and 1 is dented so badly that it's unsafe to use. The Purina box was ripped apart due to the terrible packaging inside the Chewy box ( outer box). There was 1, just 1, small piece of paper to cushion 12 cans of dog food from shifting all over. Needless to say, it disappeared not work. On my first damaged shipment at least there was a block of corrugated cardboard to try and keep things from shifting and getting damaged. And that didn't work well at all. Between 2 cases (24 cans) of food, I am able to pice together 12 safe cans. How hard is it to sandwich a box of cans between 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard to help keep food safer from severe damage. My goodness. Because you know whatever box is being shipped is not going to handled gently by the company who transports it. For the price of decent dog food, I'd like it to arrive in an edible condition.

We tried this food for the first time this month....i like to mix soft food with blu's dry food....i love how excited he gets when i mix it . When i open the can it actually smells meaty. Blu eats really hearty with this particular brand and leaves nothing behind..the last soft food never got this response...which is wat i was looking for in a canned dog food....something to excite him about supper....also im extremely happy its from purina...ive used purina for 50 yrs for my little buddies food....i trust it. So im not surprised blu loves it. I was pleased chewy had it in stock. I choose chewy for all blu's needs. Thx Chewy

Like clock work on my chocolate labs first birthday, she decided she was no longer interested in dry food... cool well that's not an option. We upgraded princess picky pee pee head to adult food (even though she acts like a baby) and add about 1/3 can of this magic sauce with a little water to coat the crunchies all over. She isn't super stoked to eat like she used to be but she participated so we're pretty happy she isn't going to starve to death.

I have an 11 year old standard poodle that has been hard to feed since we first got her at 1 year old. When she was just a puppy, she was jumped and injured by a large bully dog that took her food, and eating still scares her. I've tried everything to get her to eat. Shallow dog bowl,bowl not shiny, dry, wet, this food, that food.She lost several pounds the last year; she just doesn't like to eat. When she stopped eating even when I held her bowl, I resorted to hand feeding her.But for the past several nights, she's watched me fill her bowl with this Purina Pro food, she's been excited to eat, and, wait for it, she's eaten the food, all by herself! No more squishy hand fulls of food to try and coax her. She just eats! That's more amazing than it should be. I totally recommend this food.

Almost every can in 4 cases arrived dented

Bought four cases of this food. All of the shrinkwrap was shredded and many cans were dented. May not order this from Chewy again, as I can pick it up at area stores
