The feeding instructions do not tell you how many times a day to feed them. Is the chart based off of what they should eat through out the day total ?

It is important that you feed the recommended amount of Pro Plan to your adult cat throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment.
