My experiences with this company have been fabulous... I started Ordering from them when my beloved Charlie became ill a few years ago and he needed special food. The prices were more reasonable and I liked the auto ship savings. When Charlie passed shortly after I had just received a large order, I called to ask about a refund because my Vet bill was a bit. They quickly without thinking gave me a refund and told me to donate the food which I did along with some needles and insulin I had left over. To my surprise I received flowers with a sympathy card shortly there after. WOW is all I can say. What a personal touch. They have been very receptive to any returns and questions and could not improve at all as far as I am concerned. I have worked in Customer Service my whole life and good service goes a LONGGGGG way .. So Kudos to Chewy and for the record I am the Town Clerk in my Town and part of my duties are dog licensing so you can bet I tell everyone about the service at Chewy!!! My new pup, Cooper, loves this puppy food and my older dog seemed to like the puppy food so I switched to this same brand- Adult Small Breed for Madison my 11 Year old Cocker Spaniel, of course slowly mixing in with her old food. She loves it !! I know this is more about the Company than the food but I can't help myself

I have two chihuahuas that have been seen by our veterinarian going on 8 years now. On our last two visits, he noticed a bit of a weight gain. We spoke about what their current diet consisted of and the pro's and con's of the meals that I have been preparing for them. Not only has he been practicing for over 30 years, but he has been breeding national champion show dogs for almost the same amount of time. His recommendation to me, for increased nutrition and decreased weight gains, is any of the Pro Plan products, as this is the only thing he gives to his dogs! My girls are very particular with their meals, and I was not sure they would take to the new kibble without the usual garnishes I would have to add to get them to eat. Well, let me tell you that, right off the bat... and with out any other incentive (LOL), they took to dry kibble Pro Plan Focus and Pro Plan Savor. It has been two months now since introducing the new food. They poop less and are starting to visibly, trim down. They are more attentive to my commands and are not as (vocal) as chihuahuas are know to be! Thanks Dr. Bob and thanks Purina!!! -Chris B

I have never been more disappointed in chewy until a few days ago ! We opened our bag of purina pro plan that is kept in the bag in a airtight plastic bin than we use a smaller bin that goes in our kitchen a few days ago I opened the the bin to feed my dogs only to find worms in the dog food I I went and opened the bag that’s kept in large container only to find worms in the bag gross!!! We have never found anything before in this food ? How old was this? It was so gross we dumped it and went and purchased a bag locally. It was suggested I contact you and let u know what I found I was so grossed out I just dumped it and decided no more Chewy ! that food is expensive and to have to dump it! I have thought about this and don’t know if you have the food too long or if purina is where the issue lies? Whatever it is someone has to look into this! I took a picture of the small container in kitchen and the more u shook the bin it was worse. but the bag was even grosser! It looked infested?

The vet is the only place that has nutritional brands, but she didn't like those either. Yea for Purina Pro Plan! We saw it advertised on the dog show, so we thought we'd give a try.
