It's usually tough to find a food that suits all of them, especially because kibble size can be an issue—but to my surprise, every single one loved this! I really appreciate that the kibble comes in smaller pieces, making it suitable for everyone in my pack. I like that chicken is the primary ingredient and that it includes live probiotics to help keep my dogs’ digestive systems healthy. I feed my dogs both dry and wet food each day, and this is the first dry dog food I can wholeheartedly recommend.

My Cocker Spaniel, Hailey, tried Purina ONE Plus Whole Body Support with Live Probiotics for about a month, and she genuinely enjoyed the taste. I really appreciate that this formula uses real chicken as the first ingredient, includes live probiotics, and contains zero fillers. It’s a solid option for dogs who don’t need to watch their calorie intake. That said, at 437 calories per cup, it’s simply too calorie‑dense for Hailey. Like many Cockers, she’s prone to weight gain, and her vet has had her on a low‑calorie prescription diet for several years to keep her at a healthy, stable weight. She’s almost 9 and moderately active, so we count every calorie. While she liked this food and did well on it, we ultimately switched her back to her Hill’s Rx Metabolic to maintain her weight. For dogs without weight‑management needs, though, Purina ONE Plus has great ingredients and thoughtful nutrition.

It’s designed for continued wellness in adult dogs, supporting heart, bones, immunity, and digestion. This is well balanced nutrition with no fillers, and they love it. The high-protein aspect really stands out: real chicken is the main ingredient, and the meaty shreds make perfect treats if you use kibble for rewards. At a reasonable price point for the quality, the Purina One Plus is definitely a great choice.
